  • This man is a one of the richest northern man i believe he has a hand in Boko Haram. If not for the terrorism act of his son, nobody would have known much about this silent billionaire. He played a major role in introducing Islamic banking into Nigeria. His son, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, attempted to detonate plastic explosives aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253 on December 25, 2009.

  • Hi it is really a same that Nigerian SSS cannot go after and find the sponsors of Boko Haram. I was just listening to the news the recent attack are really bad and should not continue. I think SSS should investigate This silent billionaire so called (Alhaji Umaru Abdul Mutallab).

  • waow! The so called Boko Haram are supporting the RELIGION OF PEACE as they call it, but are killing their fellow MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISITERS. Kano has an alarming number of muslims, even in the government too..It hurts though, but on the other hand, it did reduce the number of muslims in Nigeria..Religion of Peace my foot..

  • @viokand See ur answer is full of hate and anger U africans know nothing but killing anyway I'm not a racist u dirty asshole! It is a FACT that black hate one another but why? what is the reason behind this why cant u life in PEACE?. every corner of africa is burning.. Put down the guns and go school u fvking dirty beggers....

  • Let me guess Ron Paul, Boko Haram did that because of U.S foreign policy?? It's about time people realize that the worldwide jihadist machine is not only at war with America and Europe or their foreign policy, but with every secular country out there. Islam wants to dominate and not be dominated.

  • Yep Islam is the religion of peace, and muslims will kill you to prove it.

  • boko haram should be destroyed

  • As a Ghanaian who used to teach in Niger state in the 1980s, it breaks my heart to see Nigeria go this way. I was a Christian living amongst Hausa Muslims, but then they accepted and loved me wholeheartedly without any reservations as one of their own. Please Nigeria; get your act together, for the whole is bigger than the sum of the parts. You set the agenda and trend for Black Africa, do not disappoint us. Thank you.

  • Thank you for sharing this very important information. I just pray that everyone else reads your thread so that they too will have a clear perspective of what's truly ailing that great country (Nigeria).

  • I am afraid the time is long past when the government should have taken proactive measures to combat corruption and brought some economic relief to the people. Nigeria might be heading towards a civil war and ultimately a breakup of the country along the Niger River into two or three states/countries. It is as though the north and south, the Yorubas, Hausas and Igbos are not organically suitable for each other. If the centre cannot hold, the parts will come apart.

  • If you look at the pattern of bombings and violence etc. it is not hard to see, the people behind Boko Haram are attacking all the symbols of power, irrespective of whether the targets are Muslims or Christians; in their minds they are attacking the structures that has been holding them down and subjecting them to a life of misery and deprivation, in spite of the immense wealth that Nigeria possesses.

  • That is the gist of what is going on. The frustration and angst against corruption plus its attendant moral decadence such as prostitution and pornography has reached a boiling point, and the earlier the politicians who only go into politics to become millionaires own up to their failings and initiate radical changes, the better it will be for Nigeria.

  • This is what the common folks that form the core of Boko Haram (i.e. Book is Sacrilege) have figured is wrong with the system. It is like they are saying western education corrupts the soul of the people, hence a call to return to a more traditional system and education which inculcated honesty, integrity, truthfulness, respect for elders and authority, and fellowship in the people.

  • But that was not the case 100years back. Honesty, integrity, hard work, fellow-feeling, communal relationship, and selflessness were the norm then. But what do you see today, corruption has become the culture. And when you look at the people pillaging the country of its resources, they are the so-called educated class - politicians, businessmen and bureaucrats - the fruits of western education.

  • It is very easy to dwell on the current spate of violence and blame Muslims, or for that matter Boko Haram (to wit, Book is sacrilege). Nigerians must sit up and realize people resort to their own tribes, clans and ethnicity when they have lost faith in the central authority to deal with them fairly and equitably. Nigeria’s political and social system is corrupt to the bone marrow. We have people in authority raping the country like there is no tomorrow.

  • Majority of the muslims living in that area synpathize with Boko Haram, they all believe that president Jonathan is the cause of their suffering, how come their elders are not speaking out against Boko Haram, how come they are not holding protests to condemn this group (afterall they held protest march against the fuel subsidy removal), are you telling me that they do not know the people carrying out the attacks, who live in their mist.

  • i have been repeating it time n time again 4 the last year; Nigeria is overdue 4 a civil war....n it shall be a religious war that shall lead to it..have strength of heart my people, rough times r 2 come..yet it is only a fraction of what is 2 come upon mankind....hold on n stand 4 what u know is right. May Mother Nature guide us all.

  • Why do the BLACK PEOPLE hate one another so much? Why can't they live in peace and harmony? Everywhere you go in this world there are BLACK person killing another BLACK... why what is the reason behind this?... I want to know why is that?

  • @Afgooyee Get your racist asshole from here you IDIOT, which cave did you come out from, you see your world only in BLACK and WHITE, you FOOL.

  • Who gives a shit?

  • Looks like Nigerian Christians have every reason to be Islamophobic.

  • @InsufferablePrick123 Not exactly! You can't blame a religion for the stupid acts that some people do. Man has been doing stupid things in the name of religion (to carry out their own agendas) since the beginning of time. That type of behavior is not acceptable in Islam. Killing one innocent person is like the weight of killing a generation.

  • @MzSiddiqui

Nonsense. You can directly lay the blame at the Islams feet. Islam encourages actions like this; Islam's mandate is to kill all infidels. Kill all people who leave Islam. Kill those who insult Mohammad. ETC ad nausium. Anyone who thinks Islam isn't to blame for Muslim crimes is a fucking moron. It's like saying the Crusades were in no way religiously motivated, it was all just people with their own agendas! Wake the fuck up, seriously.

  • @MzSiddiqui ""You can't blame a religion [Islam] for the stupid acts that some people[Muslims] do.""

Yes I can,,,so blow it out your ass.

  • @MzSiddiqui the qoran has many verses preaching a message of peace but later in his life as muhmmad gained power verses of a fascist intolerant nature begin to appear. These give strong incentives to muslims for the use of violence to expand Islam.

So claiming Islam denounces violence by quoting a peacfull verse from the qoran doesnt proof Islam is not to blame. As other muslims clearly find justification to the use of violence in the violent verses most muslims pretend dont exsist

  • allah's carnival of death rolls on, to its doom.

  • There is no God if there were he would stop the fighting of people. Because they all claim that God is on there side. So what is this God he find entertainment in watching people die? It's all about power and control. If you have no control you do bad things and blame it on a deity will. As human were going to have to take control of our personal action and stop using faith for being evil. You have the answer be peaceful and stop the revenge and greed. Give people freedom without hurting.

  • FAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE NEWS WHY DON'T YOU SHOW THE OTHER SAID WHAT THEY DID TO MUSLIME WHY YOU JUST SHOW ONE SAID .

  • @idricool Sounds like we have a long ways to go to catch up to the other empires. You know? The Portuguese, Spanish, British and French? The Scandinavians? The Italians/Romans? Hell, the Catholic church has created more death than us.

Please step down from your high horse and take count of history.

  • the diff is those things happend hundreds of years ago u muslums animals are doing these things in 2012!!!!! just look what muslums do to there own woman burka etc discusting treated worse then animals

  • @cbballbreaker1900 I'm a Muslim? I wasn't aware. History doesn't change the fact that it happened, nor does history excuse it. History is always relevant, friend. But then, uneducated simpletons like yourself don't take history into account so we repeat it... Over... And over... And over.

I was talking about America, by the way.

To anyone with a brain history is always relevant.

  • @cbballbreaker1900 By your logic, in two hundred years whatever America/Muslims are doing right now won't matter because that is history. So what's the point of being upset about it now?

  • Religion of Peace strikes again.

  • @Vire70 what do you know about Islam ? fucker go chick what they have don to the Muslime of this counry the news just show one said not the other said you guys are all fucked

  • @MusicHDUniversal

Even if they have done terrible shit to Muslims, it doesn't make it right for them to respond like barbarians either. And your almost incoherent reply doesn't exactly inspire confidence in your own stance.

  • @Vire70

    Christian Asshole

  • @chilich33z

Funny, only people more ridiculous than Muslims is Christians. But at least they aren't quite as prone to throwing your rights in the bin and stoning you to death - at least not any more.

  • @Vire70 That's because, for the most part, today's Christians can read and it's rather difficult to explain the concept of engaging in a "Holy War" (an oxymoron in Christianity) to those who can plainly read that Jesus wants them to be pacifists. There are however literate morons who can be incited to violence no matter what. In the Quran it's a different story and holy war has it's own chapter in that book, with it's very own guidelines, that makes it a much easier sell.

  • @MsColdCanada

Yeah well I think the biggest reason is that Christianity is older and has had more time to evolve. Islam neither knows nor cares about modern societal requirements, which is why they still practice completely barbaric things like stonings.

To be fair though Christianity isn't really a lot better than Islam, it's just more passive in modern day. Go back a few hundred years and you'd find it just as tyrannical and oppressive. Also Jesus specifically said O.T still applies.

  • @Vire70 Adhering to barbaric practices from the OT and Quran, particularly stoning, when Jesus is reported to have personally prevented (not just spoke against) a stoning would be illogical. One cannot say that all 3 Abrahamic religions are the same since "leaving out" brutal punishments such as stoning is one of the accusations Muslims level at Christians about not following the "law of God". A few hundred years ago the common people couldn't read. That was my point.

  • @MsColdCanada

It wouldn't be the first or only time that Jesus did something contrary and illogical. Like most everything else in the bible you can find bits and peices that will disagree with any other one part. It's actually a marvel of literature that you can have such a profoundly contradictory text that isn't immediately dismissed as garbage... but then again it's more like a marvel of human pscyhology that they -dont- do that. I did at about 8 years old.

  • @Vire70 Err... what is contrary in your comment is you say Jesus did something contrary (as if you believe he existed) while calling the text that outlines his existence as garbage to be dismissed. Are we our are we not relying on the written texts of the 3 Abrahamic religions to compare them? Or are we relying on modern day actions of those who claim adherence to those religions? Or both? You can't just dismiss what doesn't fit in one case and refer to it in another.

  • @MsColdCanada

That is flawed logic. I do not need to believe a fictional book in order to point out contradictions or flaws therein. It is garbage to be dismissed precisely because of the endless blatant contradictions. Yes, with enough hand twisting you can 'explain' these, but only to the extent that a retard would be satisfied with it, not people with normal functioning brains. And frankly I consider the religious literally retarded when it comes to dealing with their respective holy texts.

  • @Vire70 It's not flawed logic in that you cannot say Hamlet meant something and expect that to be 100% correct when the majority of Shakespeare's readers interpret it otherwise. It doesn't matter what your over all analysis of the written work is if you are referring to it to make your point. The author is dead and the character is fictional so all one can do is guess but when you said "Jesus specifically said O.T still applies" when it's open to interpretation. It's misleading.

  • This is messed up. The country is rich in oil reserves, its people should not be suffering like this. Instead they should be benefiting from the wealth, and enjoying a higher standard of living.

Who is to blame? Colonialism and outside interests? Ignorance and tribal mentality? Greed and corrupt politicians?
