@Katesloveslave I know it's a wild stretch. But Stephanie Meyer had to have watched Saturday morning cartoons. The Cullen family are basically two parents, three "natural" children and two adopted kids. Each one has a special power and Esmee Cullen has that control and authority that Mom1 displays in the show.

I know, it's a stretch but, eh, it's there.
