@karoletsimulator1 True, very true. ive watched loads of other videos of this game by SCS Software and i saw you can customize your truck in the garage, iy makes it real EPIC. I almost have every single SCS Software game they made (the only ones i havent got are the hunting ones)

@karoletsimulator1 I'd guess G27's better, cause it's the latest one. Main differences is that you have some extra buttons on the actual steering wheel (G27). The minus is that you only get H-shifting on the G27, while you can choose between H-shift or dog-shift in the G25 (there has been reported problems on the G25 shifter - but I've never experienced problems.) . The shifter on the G27, is a bit quieter, than the G25. Both have "flappy-pedal"-shifters. - Jahny

please dont make gps ect glued to screen. just make it on dashboard. If really necessary (small monitor or low resolution) then let player use button to get closer to GPS or laptop (head move closer to gps or just zoom) Make navigation accessible in shops. Laptops would be good too. In older GTS there was button to pause game and letting you watch laptop for long time. Please make need to slow down or full stop to use laptop (maybe some realism mod for hardcore gamers ;) )

Using a steering wheel is the real deal indeed. But when someone doesn't have one, it's MUCH better than keyboard. I can't imagine "driving" with 2 keyboard buttons.

By the way it worries me that while recording a video they didn't use a steering wheel.

It raises the question: do they use a wheel while testing the physics engine at all?

We've seen how jerky the driving was in other test videos AND in Trucks&Trailers :S

By the way, in KOTR (King of the road), keyboard driving was neatly implemented, and that was 10 years ago!

You could turn off "centering force" and set the sensitivity to low, so the wheel stayed in the angle you kept it, and you could fine-tune it while driving. Very very easy to get used to it and very precise (if lacking a steering wheel

Here's an idea for the control scheme: How about having a "boost" button (shift?) that you can press when you want to turn the wheel faster. That way you would get rid of the typical keyboard-dance (for example at 2:00) and get much smoother turning, while still having the option to turn quickly in case of an emergency or when driving in the city by holding down shift. The same could work for emergency braking vs. normal braking.

Ive played every single trucking game out there, and none of them have a good manual transmission settings.
