Not to sound rude, but that's a rather ignorant statement. There are several key differences and it's important to at least realize that much, even if you are indifferent to the government.

American People Wake Up..The Media wants us to Believe That This is a close race that Obama only has a 8% lead Wake Up. Obama gives a speech 80,000 people show up McCain and the republican convention barley got 10,000 people. Just look at any video when you see a Obama speech you see people of all races genders, ages coming together. McCain is a man who ran out on his wife and kids. To be with a 21 year old rich girl at 45. Who picked his VP after a 15 min phone call.. Wake Up People
My name is wopwoman and I'am a republican-aholic. LOL. Voted republican my entire life.. until this election. Just finally woke up and realized they are full of s--t. They only care about big corporations and the middle class and little guy get screwed. Enough already! At least they can't scream family values anymore.Closet gays hitting on men in airports,McCrazy and his trophy wife he picked up in a bar and left his wife for and a VP with a knocked up teenage daughter. Love those values.
I'm a Recovering Republiholic too. I was a big Reagan fan, would have voted for Bush 41 over Clinton, voted Clinton over Dole, and Bush 43 over Gore.
But what changed me was realizing that Republicans don't give a good gawdamn for the regular people and the Iraq War without catching Bin Ladin.
Once I examined my ideals and values I realized that I had been brainwashed by the "good morals" bullshit they preach. They talk up all these great ideals but their actions are the opposite.
Every little bit helps, thanks for your effort to do the right thing, and help the country! Don't forget great Republicans like Ron Paul though.
After the difficulty of watching this election to weigh the candidates, I can see how attractive voting the party line could be--you wouldn't even have to spend time worrying about whether the candidates were telling the truth about what they would do, or what actually was the best policy--just vote the party line.
You guys remind me of my father. His side of the family all Republicans. Till one day my mom was registering people to vote and he said he wanted to change his party affiliation. I think her jaw dropped to the floor. It's not an easy thing to literally change your views or party affiliation.
rofl. so these "recovering republicans" just switch over to the other side of political idiocy? dems and reps = same shit. open your eyes people.
