I love you videos. They're very informative and well done. I'm especially impressed with the way this knife makes short work of the objects you place before it.
That out of the way. I have a question. And I apologize in advance for the un-knife related nature of it. So you happen to know the name of the beautiful music you have playing in the background? And if so, would you please mind sharing the title with me?
watch the video "the way of the gurkha warrior" and you see a Gurkha with his ceremonial Khukri decapitating the buffalo during the Great Gurkha Festival call Dashera
also watch the video "Connexion of Mongolia-Kirat:Revealing the Mystery of Origin of Phallus Stone Worship" which explain roots of Hinduism.
Kiratas are the Indo-Mongoloid(Gurkhas) and find refences in Veda, Puranas and epics of ancient aryan text.

Yea, excellent chopper. I really like the simplicity of the handle, it flows really well with the entire blade. That and the kydex sheath (watched the kit video) is really awesome.
well, I've moved house, become a full time knifemaker & the knife's made & the customer has had it for about 10 months, youtube user seanmulhall, the knife video is called : Silver Fox Bushcraft Knife.
I want to say a big thank you also, one of my newest customers came to me with a request to use your 'striking notch' in the spine of the blade.
Congratulations! I saw the video a while back but I did not know it was your blade, very very cool knife! You really put some thought into the design of the blade and the sheath. Please send some pics!

Nice.
The sheath set-up is great. Carrying some kind of fire starting implements in that little water proof container?
twistcut 2 years ago
Yes I do, some paraffin wax soaked cotton balls and a fire steel. Gives off a 7 minuet or so flame and is water proof.

Hi Jim, looks like a good knife. Is it 5160 you're using for it and what thickness is the blade?
sc00ny 3 years ago
Yes sir it is, and it is a little over 1/4 wide at the thickest part and tapered front and back.
laneakjt 3 years ago
Thanks for the reply. Working on a big bush knife myself at rhe moment for Seanmulhall, so I'll send you the review vid if you want.
Never used 5160, but I hear good things.
Your dimensions seem sound also. Keep up the good work Jim!
