Gordie to me is the defenition of what a hockey player should be. The most complete player to ever play. He was a leader, could score, hit and fight and had the longevity to play so long with that same style. 6 art's 6 Harts.. 44 goals and 103 points at age 40! 15 goals and 40 points at age 51! I grew up as a Bruins fan my whole life and I loved Orr but I have no problem saying my favorite player of all time wears a different uniform. #9

I loved this commercial when I first saw it. Wish I had grown up in a cold climate-skating on a frozen pond/lake looks like fun. Also what is the significance of a player tapping the ice with his stick? I've seen it several times.

Kariya was point-racking central 101 for so many years. it's sad that we never got to see bure and lindros have their peaks long enough. although howe, gretz and lemiuex are untouchable, jagr was one of the closest things to that.

Yeah Bure awesome, although he´s career was shortened by several kneeinjuries. No question whether he should be here or not because he really is one of the most dangerous goal scorers in the histroy of NHL and one of the fastest skaters in the world! That´s pretty good compination.. He would have been in the top 20 of all time if he played as long as Gretzky did.

where the best players in the world play, in the NHL, no european captain has ever won the cup. in last years stanley cup final, there were 17 canadians. anaheim had one, pahlson, who funny enough plays the game like a canadian. the sens had a few, the losing team. alfie the swede was their captain, and gerber the useless was the back-up goalie.

awesome commerical, i'd love to see one with crosby and gretzky doing something. And btw anyone who said that Howe wouldn't eat any of those players alive never saw howe play. Look it up, Gordie Howe wasn't just one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history he was also one of the toughest men to ever play the game.

If they would make it of all canadians, then it will only be there moderate players like Crosby or Lecavalier, nothing but really average players without an idea in the play. Hockey´s heart and brain is in Europe.

where the best players in the world play, in the NHL, no european captain has ever won the cup. in last years stanley cup final, there were 17 canadians. anaheim had one, pahlson, who funny enough plays the game like a canadian. the sens had a few, the losing team. alfie the swede was their captain, and gerber the useless was the back-up goalie.

Eric Lindros is still a decent player, but coming from a Flyers fan from Southeastern PA, he isn't the same player he was ten years ago around this time with the Flyers. I was simply trying to point out that the hockey "experts" made a big miscue on how potentially great he would be as a player for the Flyers

What is your point with "You think he's worried about your ass?" I didn't mention the fact that he should care what I think, I don't care what he should think about my statement either. He can think whatever he wants to think that's his business. What I was trying to point out was that the hockey "experts" at the time predicted that Eric Lindros would be the next "Gretzky" when he went to the Flyers in what I think was a ridiculous trade to even get him from Quebec in '92.
