That was good! A bit blurry, like something on the camera lens. The narration was good, and the scenery shots on the side of the rocky mountain made me a litte anxious! Beautiful.
Can u check out my page? It's a lighter side of hiking, called Hikers World. Thanks and keep it up!
Thanks to both of you for a great video. The pictures were great and the whole video was one of the best on the Kalalau Trail. Oh well on the pronouncing , the ones who noticed didn't use very good grammar themselves. I want to visit soon and watching this gets me hyped up. Great information and wonder if you have more videos on Hawaii?
i wish you would pronouce the vowels in kalalau hanakapiai and hanakoa properly as hawaiians would say. i mean you are in their land so you should pronouce the 'a' more in a 'aw' sound instead the 'a' like ine 'california'
Totally awesome video! I loved hiking the Kalalau trail...but, after having only one day's rest at Kalalau, it was totally exhausting hiking back to the trailhead.
Excellent video! I live on Maui where I regularly hike the Haleakala Crater. I am now ready for the next big challenge in Hawaii, I am planning to hike the Kalalau Trail probably later this summer. This is by far the best video of the hike I have seen. Very informative and enlightening as to the challenges presented by the trail.
By far and away, the best Kalalau Trail hiking video I've ever seen, and certainly the most honest. Thanks for putting the time and effort into making it. I can imagine how difficult it was for one of you to wait behind as the other went ahead for filming purposes. Excellent job.
Hi, great video indeed. Any suggestions on where to store luggage while out on the trail? We plan on hiking the trail first, then staying at a hotel after and don't want to keep our gear in a rental care at the trailhead. Thanks!
I had a friend that lives on the island so we were able to leave our gear there. Other people we spoke to on the trail locked their gear up at the airport. I guess they have so lockers there you can rent. Good luck!

yeah its too bad that you guys cant say any hawaiians words correctly, and 30 lbs packs ha, thats nothing compared to my 70 lbs pack, the trail is quite scary in some places but it aint as bad as the koolau summit trail on oahu, really if you can handle the hike you shouldnt go at all. cause just imagine if you get hurt or injured on the trail or in the valley, youd probably be fuked, i say if you ever decide to go pack your fuken trash,
It is always fun to see our island from the eyes of tourists (but must agree with others that your Hawaiian pronunciation is a bit painful to my ears. LOL!)
Completely awesome!

That beautiful red dirt is desertification in action. A cancer upon the land. Sparked by overgrazing and expanded by extreme wind and rainfall.

Sorry dude, I am not Hawaiian and I have terrible pronunciation. You are the second person to call me on it.

Cool video. I just got back from hiking the Kalalau Trail. It was very difficult and dangerous - and I've hiked in Nepal and Peru. But I loved it.
