  • Very good player.

    Some questions:

    1) Which kind of racket does he use when playing U10 tournaments? Junior racket or normal lenght racket (lite of course)?

    2) Which kind of balls? Mid balls or normal balls?

In Italy you must use mid balls and junior rackets when playing U10 tournaments.

    Greetings!

  • @aejoongluver1 lol yup

  • Look its Ryoma

  • @PopPrincessAIko That's what i thought!! at first i saw this title...soo young to play tennis, mmm just like ryoma. then i watched this vid, goshh both have hat o.o

  • Have you mastered your tennis? What are you doing now?

  • u suck

  • he's alright but i can beat him

  • he sucks

  • nice, real good for 9!!

  • No top spin on the backhand. Needs to improve that

  • I guess hes good for a 10 year old

  • r u from north america

  • not bad

  • id like to see a mroe current vid

it's been 3 years if he hasnt improved dramatically he's not going anywhere

  • Hey Go its Thierry.. haha do you remember me?

  • Okay so I'm better than this since I'm 17 and all, but you sure do modivate me. I was going to just stick to all my tennis lessons to play and occassionally play since I'm at tennis lessons every day but after watching this I'm going to start do cross training aswell to help me physically. Not saying that becuase I'm 17 that I'm better, I'm just more devoloped physically since age and also because I've played more years.

  • lol

  • 頑張って!テレビに出るのを楽しみにしてます^^

  • I can beat this kid, I think. But he's going to be tough!

  • Impressive

  • his my friend.

  • lol im more echizen than him

    cuz although we're both japanese

i serve right and play left

    OWNED

  • Echizen is real! o.o

    hehe, talented kid!

  • lol, damn. Go ahead and kill the kids knees before he is 16 wont ya.

  • Sport is ruined by that kind of attitude. He's doing no harm to his knees.

  • What I meant is, that the coach is making him run from side to side the entire court on a hard court.

I understand that it makes him better when he gets older. But

"hard court" + alot of running = dead knees eventually.

  • check out wat i have... i'm 13 and i started when i was about 1 month to be 12

  • you are honestly not as good as this kid

    no consistensy,

try to be cool and play big shots

cannot see the absolute control over the balls

well i guess thats about the standard of playing just about 2 years?

  • the only reason why i played like that is bcause i wasn't serious and in a real match believe me i'm not exactly wat u saw on the video so don't come here telling me crap like u know everything

  • I just tell what i saw

if you are better than that and you are hiding 99% of your ability, what can I say?

Most people, most people i am saying,

should do better in practising than in real matches -

  • plus your form is not as good as the kid,

    consistensy has somehow ran out

I am not saying that you are not good,

in facts, you are very good having just playing tennis for 2 years - but in comparison to this kid, he can beat you, maybe not quite easily, but he can - (just base on what I saw from you) post better video of yours if you think, em, no you are wrong.

  • all i did was ask for his oppinion not urs so i really don't care wat u think and u keep saying things y dont u post what u can do??

  • i just cant stand the fact that you think you are so damn good when you are clearly not

I will post my video so look forward to it :)

i am just about to buy a stand for my camera so there we go :)

  • can u tell me were i said i was so good plz that will be interesting

  • okie dokie

    i m wrong

    i m tired of agruing

  • watever i still dont like the fact that u came and said i wz not good and i wz trying to show off wen i just practiced like i always do

  • maybe it was, misunderstood?

    you initial comment was

    "check out what I have",

and I thought it meant to be sarcastic and, in a way, trying to show off.

But you explained it all now,

    is not, so is not.

  • nice

  • yea, u forget, he probably has his parents on him constantly to be the best, so he may be good at tennis, but does he have a life and allowed to live like a kid shoulf, no probably, lol.

  • nice tennis for your age ;-)

  • he still got many more to learn..his serve is just jumping on the court..it gives player to have more time to return..

  • he looks like echizen ryoma from prince of tennis rite? lol

  • hahaha yes he does

  • lol i agree

  • Wow! Great speed at getting to the net @ :10. Very graceful! Keep up the hard work!

  • remeber me how r u man

  • wait a sec, is that racquet at 4:21 a Prince Triple Threat Bandit??omg i have that raquet. i never realized that until now lol

  • prince of tennis! Haha

  • this court looks familiar , is this the blacktown tennis courts?

  • NO...its in Hornsby. The Kim Warwick Tennis Academy. But now I am training at Sydney Olympic Park. National Academy Sydney/Australia

  • haha man i miss playing usta thats what this reminds me of haha shit i need to play college or something no tennis in your life sucks

  • almost as good as me just the balls i hit go lowe and faster

  • proderek ur a liar! wtf is ur name even derek?! and btw i happen to play with reo at woodbridge, so dont lie about that crap

  • lol, im not rly sure but i think he jus made that his screename.

  • he claims it's his cousin's youtube account

  • hmm ok well that makes a bit more sense

  • what are you ranked in the world???

    please reply.

    from your age i mean.

  • ok, for a ten year old. Keep it up

  • You don't see many good pro Asian players. Y is that?

  • I dont know about the past but in coming future people will see many.

  • @tkyshoji I dont think so...ur all too short and weak...just trained as robots, no real flare...i always find it easy playing an asian.

  • @bfand001 That's kind of a messed up thing to say? One of the top 5 juniors in the Pacific Northwest champs, Michael Hukwo, is like 6'3", left handed, and hits bombs off every shot. I'd say he has some flare.

  • @jesseroggaa you could at least try to use a good player as an example...i dont know him, so he cant be good.

  • @bfand001 What about the Chinese player who just beat Roddick in Wimbledon?

  • @jesseroggaa ill give you that....but one out of a billion...come on....hes not going to make it much higher than what he already is

  • @bfand001 Don't forget Kei Nishikori.

Oh yeah, but you can't expect anything pro-esque out of any junior, Asian or not. Where I live, the Asian kids dominate a lot of the juniors.

  • @bfand001 YEah he will. What are you talking about billion. He's training hard, and if I recall, it's not about chances, its about 100% modivation. He goes to a different country, as long as he doesn't burn himself off of tennis he should do fine.

  • @ForgedAnonymous17 I know right? Maybe they find something else to do later in life like a career.

  • @TooManyPBJs They just weren't enough to make the top 10.

  • @ForgedAnonymous17 It's becuase there aren't any good ones. It's nothing to do with race, it's just who tries harder. If a good enough player comes laong they will be number 1, it's not about racism.

  • @ForgedAnonymous17 Table tennis is more popular in Asian countries, it's the opposite in America and most European countries

  • @ForgedAnonymous17 height. it's that simple.

  • unless you can return my 110mph you cant beat me :)

    then again im 14

    how old are you now?

  • 4 months back Aug.06 turn 11

  • oh well my name is reo asami

    im almost 15

    freshman at highschool

    rank 1 in 14s!

    im also japanese

  • cool so ur serve is 110? nice im 13 about to be 14 , but my serve is so far at 117 flat. I use an andy roddick type serve. if u turn pro then we might play someday.

  • Hahaha, sounds like I need to work on my serve.

I'm 14 and my top serve is 106, but I average around 85-90. Same here with the Andy Roddick serve, its best used with a babolat pure storm.

  • @tennisproderek1

    yeah right.

  • @tennisproderek1

You just came here 2 say that u got a hard serve?

    I feel sry for u.....

  • that is amazing for a ten year old, im ## years old, same skills as him even better, but that kid got some skills!

  • he's ok, but i would expect more from a ten year old.

  • ok no offense but ive seen a lot better 10 year olds...

he hits too high and even though hes 10... his power is as much as a 7 year old

  • i so agree

  • as do i

  • i dont, but youve got a point there,

  • hi how r u going in yor championships keep in touch

  • not the best

  • Ganbatte ^_^ rippana tenisu senshi ni naru to ii akiramenaide ^_^

  • English please?

  • Do your best , don't give up I hope you become an excellent tennis player

    Why english? :P

  • because I speak english. its my first language. and I know very little spanish.

  • i meant itt like DUDE THATS AWESOME!! lol

  • CHINKE!

  • Hm.. I was better at his age.

  • lol hes the prince of tennis irl.

  • Is he playing on a grass court?

  • No. He use to play on Synthetic Grass but from this year (2008) he join the National Academy at Sydney Olympic Park where he practice on the same kind of surface of The Australian Open Grand Slam 2008 (Plexicushion). You can see in his second video on this page (More From : tkyshoji) or go to his website by opening more info.

  • odj cjdkhjedp cke wef wmjf lrwfn?

  • there aren't a lot of players from the ATP from japan, at least he's training in australia in japan tennis lessons would cost over 300 USD. Tennis is such an expensive sport in japan because they have very little land mass and tennis courts take a lot of space so it is very expensive to construct one

  • i think so because im in texas and play with champs and supers but when i visit in california alot of people look at me as if i was stupid

  • i have a question lol...this question doesnt concern about this video....is the term "superchamp" and "champ" only used in texas?

  • i've met a superchamp from ohio, but i live in texas

  • asians aren't good in any sport, except for a few exceptional ones, the rest are nerds like rock on you playing wateva the hell it is on the internet

  • wat about cricket-one of da most popular sports on da planet

  • i think crickets only popular cuz theres so many indian ppl in the world...

  • like omg no aisan ppl arnt all nerds, k? im aisain and a female!

  • That racquet's bigger than him.

  • ...my hero...

  • your prety good no afence here but i could beat you proble im 9 im 172-29 lol but ey your prety good and i like that you say it age dosent matter cuz it dosent how hard you work for it does and but keep improving you can be prety good i think

  • If it doesn't matter, then why post here? If you have such a great record then how do you have time to play that many matches while have your lvl 106 on Runescape as you claim. If you are from the US, you are obviously in USTA if are actually good, so what is your name?

  • i'm a tennis expert so you better stop saying hes too young

  • LOL I think we see our new echizen ryoma. I admit your good for your age. You got a hell of a serve but hey man i am 13 years old and i am crazy good at tennis.

  • Think you could beat me

  • I Love challenges and always try my best to beat my opponent. 'NEVER GIVE UP'

  • Thanks for your Comments. I believe age is not a matter, only the hard work is. ( Reply for poodlemonster )
