Tekken 3 still looks and plays amazing! One of the best and the better improved porting from arcade coinop to a console. Still the best of the series and in general among fighters so far for many people,me included. :)

I can't understand why Ps1 graphics is so underrated,especially compared to the N64 one?

I mean: I have both consoles and besides the hugely larger catalogue Ps1 has also very detailed textures and clean look like in Crash Bandicoot,Medievil and Gran Turismo games,while on the N64 games we have often almost naked polygons blurred a lot with that horrible myopia filter that presume to work as antialiasing. I'm puzzled by that. :-|

no... ur wrong thats later it got expanded but at first the CD could only hold up to 400MB per disc... later it was expanded... my numbers may be off maybe wikipedia can give u full answers to that so dont flame me if its 300mb or something lol. i liked how theyre discs were colored black so you wouldn't mistake them for computer or music CD's. Some games discs were colored differently to i think. that was cool wish they still did that.

@Tommymkll yeah. its funny you mention that cause my tv just broke recently and had to use a 19 inch standard def tv for replacement and ps2 games look a lot clearer on the tvs they were designed to be played on "SD" but my ps3 looks like absolute crap on a SD tv. like even worse that it should. if you compare a ps3 SD on a SD tv to a ps3 SD but on a tv capable of HD even though your not using the HD then the difference is huge

i think of ps1 as the first step into modern gaming games started becoming more realistic with more realistic storys , people and humans and things actually proportionate to the world around them.

this is when games started doing things like this more but the ps1s hardware couldnt really deliver 100% of the package i think. it always felt sloppy to me

ps2 is when games exploded into the generation were in i think

PS2 was the beginning of the generic franchise games and yearly series updates that is so prevalent now. But then, I grew up in the nineties, so I'll always have a soft spot for the classics.
