I agree with @cjbaxter on your analysis of Michael and Lisa in the beginning. The looks of "disgust" look like confusion on Lisa's part and annoyance on Michael's part. Lisa looks down and not at Michael when she makes these expressions as if to look for the right answer, and in her latest Oprah interview she said she was very confused about him and their relationship. Michael was just annoyed with Diane's leading and invasive questions and maybe some of Lisa's answers.

At the point of 2:33 The "look of disgust" as you mentioned was not disgust in my opinion... to me Lisa's was a frown - looking down & concentration, thinking of a date then looked up at Michael - Michael in return was looking at her & biting his lip with a kind of lustful look... no disgust at this point between the two... apart from that excellent vid :-)

I think the main reason why both looked unconfortable, specially Lisa, was because they were lying about the timing, As we know now from Lisa's own mouth she left his husband for Michael. CJ,the look up the right (which is visual construction in NLP terms of course) is surely when somebody thinks of what is being put to them i.e imagining themselves in a certain situation doing what is being put to them. When Michael did that for example I sensed he was putting himself in that image and trying to get an idea of what that would be like. But it's a great analysis! I also noticed Lisa's contempt throughout this and Michael's anger is unmistakable, towards the end he's just done with Sawyer, at one point he even narrows his eyes at her in a really cliched GTFO way, and he tightens his lips revealing his teeth a lot. It's funny considering most people think of MJ as a pushover.

Oh and the four month thing that she frowns at, my guess is she does that because they'd been seeing each other for longer than that, she hadn't separated from her husband when they got together. In fact in this same interview she says she was going to meet up with him in his tour in November 1993, 2 months before she'd just claimed they got together.

There are little gestures between them which show a connection. She plays with his hand at one point and he pulls it away and her hand instinctively follows. Lisa Marie has said the marriage fell apart soon after this interview, which was in June 1995. I think if you watch the part about her being pregnant you can see why.

@scda It's almost a sexual gesture, the way she does it. It seemed like at some points they were on the same wavelength, on others they weren't. The Scientology, having kids, living in which country, him adopting her kids, her music career. You can see Lisa didn't like talking about when they started dating, but when they were both saying they weren't hiding it, her saying she fell in love with him for him, and the sex question, she seemed very truthful.

That was a really good video. Looking back at it now I can see the cracks starting to show here. they only divorced a few months after this interview. This was filmed in mid 1995, and they divorced in Jan 1996.
