ever since i heard this group when i was 15 years old i loved lissoning to them so i got a tape and over the years i lost it with moveing around and now im 32 years old i still love lissoning to them and think still they are amazing i just wish i could go and see them sing live because i think if they are has good on here they with be breath takeing live
@4kedhorn Sawubona, Unjani mfowethu? Where did you get your Zulu, I got mine from Joseph Shabalala in 1988 singing with him, it was heaven sent music, and I'm an atheist!
@terrysullivan100 Ngikhona, thank you. I don't speak a word of Zulu but I love the sound of it as I love Xhosa. I simply looked at an interpretation of the song and tried to pick a nice part to post here. Singing with Ladysmith must have been an amazing adventure. Were you with them when they did the Spike Lee show about acapella music? That was my first exposure to them and I have been a fan ever since. Thank you for all the music you were a part of.
@abnaly the only gods are us and lifes how we make it we know were here4 a short while so live life to the max this song is wonderful like the rain the sun and earth the trees their air we breath
Crazy how we take advantage of the rain, well if you think about the meaning of the song... Actually got me thinking about how lucky we are, well us westen folk. "Beautiful Rain" indeed!
it goes to show that yes we can all fight, but when we come together, we can create beautiful harmony. i dont know why people ini this world choose anything else than to love each other.

I'm singing this song in my choir class. It sounds so much better when Ladysmith black mambazo sings it. :) I love this song.
