Cool vid. When I spin the cd, I almost forget the entire album was taped live (with the crowd noise removed). The production is that good. If you dig this tune, find the album the whole thing is killer!
Great song. Lot of underappreciated tunes in the early 80's, I think because the whole era is now painted as big hair metal, which is unfair to a lot of unique and catchy music, and brief collaborations like this.
I have always hated Van Halen (sammy hagar era), because the music went too commercial/soft, and there was too much keyboards. But this...wow...what a song..what a band...what a strike! better listen it again.
@Montin83 You should get the first Montrose cd, 1973, Ronnie Montrose, Sammy Hagar, Bill Church and Denny Carmassi., AMAZING and way beyond it's time.
Have you ever heard the F.U.C.K. cd from Van Halen, Nothing soft or commercial about that CD
@69coquito I agree! montrose was incredible and so was the F.U.C.K. album! Sammy also had several very good albums solo like the red album, standing hampton and VOA! personally though my favorite Hagar song is Trans Am (Highway wonderland)
This is what a REAL Rockconcert should sound like!

Remember reading about this project in kerrang at the time. Never heard any of their stuff until now. Impressed.

First time I have seen a video from HSAS. I will have to do a little more looking. Thanks for the post. Great memories right here.
Someone posted a while back that the initials for Chickenfoot work out to HSAS also. Pretty cool I thought.
