I'm playing through it again now .. i never understood why this game is so underated (just like the movie) they are both excellent and deserve more media attention and support. i must have watched both movies 40 times each by now.

When this game first came out, my jaw dropped to the floor. The graphics, gameplay, acting, dialogue were two generations ahead of themselves. It still looks good, and I've yet to play an FPS with this much stealth and hand to hand combat.

Honestly, no game has impressed me as much as this game since. The textures and lighting were the biggest leap I've seen in the past decade. Maybe when Dark Athena comes out, but it will only be a "slight" graphical improvement.

Yeah, but that was standard stuff. Riddick has at least 30 different melee combat maneuvers (mixing hand to hand, stealth, and blunt weaponry). Thus, making it the most diverse FPS game ever made.

Doom 3 was good but when I played Riddick, man it was better. I get to do more stuff on Riddick than Doom 3, not to downside Doom 3 and the whole series, there great. Riddick has a great story line, great graphics, great gameplay, and and great cast. Riddick is awesome and a great game to play.

Any tips on how to counterattack the opponent in fights?? I've managed to do it sometimes when i use block and just press the "hit" (fire) buttom in right moment. Even disarm guards when they use their guns to hit me with.

you need to wait for the right time... get close to some guard which he carries a gun (any gun) then, wait for him to he melee attacks you, press the attack button on the right time and voila! you got him (sorry for explaining bad, i ama bad explainer) you don't need to use block button, trust me...

Xzibit is a nice addition to this game - it's hard to imagine a more interesting, likable antagonist. Though it's probably impossible I'd really like to see a the sequal made at some point. It'd be intersting to see how it could be pulled off and still be original.
