Hi, TheUTubeTeamSucks, do you have this song called 'Julia's Song' in the back of B-side from 'Talking Loud and Clear'? If you have one, can you please post that song for me with from 480p to HD, so I can download it into my mp3? I really loved Julia's Song as 1984 remake extended version, but I accidentally erase that file. Please let me know ASAP if you have time. Thanks for cooperating. Have a wonderful day.=)
@johntientran1 Sorry, the vinyl I ripped from was not the original release but an Old Gold 12", which were typically Double A Sides of Extended songs, Talking Loud And Clear was paired with Souvenir.
It´s one of my favourite 12" vinyl singles, got it on my own. Great instrumental tracks. I´m sorry, your version is a little bit too fast (about 15s all over runtime).
The problem with some 12 inch versions in the eighties was that in order to make them longer, a lot of rubbish was used to fill space! This was a great song, but didn't work as a 12 inch! It did have potential to be a great mix, but whoever put it together was obviously in a hurry.
@wgaule I am inclined to agree. I absolutely love Orchestral Manœuvres in the Dark - one of my favourite groups of all time - but this particular 12" doesn't really work! Which is a real shame when you look at, for instance, the 12" versions of 'La Femme Accident' and 'We Love You' (both arguably better than the 7" versions!) That said, I still quite like this... Orchestral Manœuvering indeed!!
making electronic music is a lot closer to the orchestral composition done by the classical composers, like Mozart,Bach,Beethoven, etc...You are bringing together hundreds of different instruments, each contributing only a few sounds. Each instrument is a different waveform. Much more musically complex than guitar pop.
The fabric on this cover came from a company my Mum used to work for called Monkwell Fabrics based in Bournemouth (she has told me a million times!!!) so i'd thought i'd share that with you all!!!
I've just uploaded Genetic Engineering and Telegraph from the remastered Dazzle Ships CD. I used to have on vinyl 12"s of Forever Live & Die, Dreaming, Sailing On The Seven Seas, but i parted with them before i ever had a PC. Hope they'll remaster some more OMD albums and put the 12" versions on them :)
good remembers / buenos recuerdos / gute erinerungen 8) , merci 8)

I nearly bought this version when it came out but i only had enough money for the 7". The 7" is awesome, this sounds a bit "cobbled together".
Thank's for posting
