any small to midsize Terrarium is fine. Make sure you get something specifically designed for snakes/reptiles because all snakes are excape artists, and corn snakes are especially good at it. Also, the food isnt that expensive, I would suggest prekilled that is thawed because it is cheaper and safer for the snake. If it wont take to it, try thawing it in a chicken broth and that should help. Use feeding tweezers to dangle the food and let go once the snake starts to coil around the prey.

Food is really, really,REALLY cheap. My ball python eats hopper mice once a week and I get them for like $1.50
