its more like Shirai Ryu (scorpion's clan) was massacred by Lin Kuei Clan (sub zero's clan) because of quan chi's minipulations. quan chi wanted to use scorpion as his minion but in order for him to control scorpion, he needs to kill scorpion first..then resurrect him again. @BeautyTaelor sub zero did NOT kill scorpions family look up, it was quanchi in disguise has sub zero to make believe to scorpion that he killed his family but it was not sub zero's brother which died because scorpion killed him thinking that he killed his family (which he did not). just look it up. and if you play the game it actually tells you. hope this helps.

Bi-han was the older brother, Quai liang was the youngest.

After Quan chi posed as sub zero and killed scorpions clan,he Resurrected Scorpion and gave him power to destroy Sub-zero, he succeeded.(But he killed the older one.)

Think thats crazy? Well, here's some more. After scorpion killed the first sub-zero, Quan chi returned to the netherealm and restored sub-zero, but as a different person...
