Why does he think it's necessary for us to do the jobs that plants do? If he cared about carbon dioxide he would be better off going on a planting mission, planting trees. No one talks about the lack of rain forest etc . Man is not a better creator than God and this mans ego is so huge he is willing to risk all life on the planet. He is deluded. hmm he seems like a reasonable guy - which is great to see.... CCS cannot be paraded around like THE only solution just because oil companies would like to stay in the business a tad longer, but we also cannot ignore the amount of oil/coal we have in our supplies and that people will continue to use it for a while to come - the key is to invest in all energy sources and r&d equally to see which one has the potential for what....

Mr. Keith, if you just STOPPED mucking with the Earth's weather patterns, and let it take care of itself, then we COULD use locally generated solar power, which would be at free cost to citizens.

But you said yourself that you're for tyranny, in that you state having local power would be harder to control (ie tax).
