@pianomanmaestro Thanks, yeah this is an awesome layout. But to be honest, the video doesn't do it justice. There is a lot more detail that you can't see on this.
@pianomanmaestro No, I don't, and believe me I'm not that good either. The credit for this layout actually goes to my freinds that own this one. They built it and did all the detail work. I've only started to learn some of their techniques by working with them and learning from them. Best advice is to take it slow and one small piece at a time.
Thank you very much, but actually the credit goes to my friends. They have been building this layout for about 3 to 4 years. Thanks for the compliment though, and I hope you enjoyed it!!
Couldn't agree more! There is soooo much detail in this layout its unbelievable and the cool thing is that like most model layouts, my friends say that this is still not finished. In fact we just finished re-doing one of the two towns, we just aren't quite to the point wherewe're ready to reveal it and show it on YouTube. It'll be here soon though!
Ha, yeah...me too! Thanks though! My friends are the ones that made this layout and did all of the detail work. A father-son team that built this layout (I think #3 or 4) that got it to this point after only about 3 years!
Right on man! That's exactly what this layout is set around, the 1940's and 50's in Pennsylvania! I like the modern stuff too, but the detail on this layout is amazing! My camera really doesn't do it justice.
WELL DONE, a COMPLETED railroad!!!
Lots and lots!!!!!!!!!! of nice choices on bliuldings, layout, placement,on & on, and colors and details!!!

Oh, off of the tunnels there's an oil pumping station, so that's why trains never run next to the tunnels.

Very very nice layout. I love realistic looking layouts! They are much better than those toylike ones we see for sale on Ebay all the time.

Wow a very nice layout for the 40's or 50's. I am not a fan of older eras at all but just to see HO scale is very cool and always nice. Good job!
