I am planning to set up a hometheather system at my basement I am just remodeling.

I just want some tips on what to put in . For the projector I still not sure what to get. Also should I buy projector screen or just paint my wall with the special paint. Also where is it better to place in-wall or in c

@TEKHD thanks a lot guys! :) btw i found something to fix my broken BenQ W1000+ part, i had to buy a cheap stereo and just rip that part out and place it in the projector so it closes the lamp-cap back again. (you cant view anything without that lamp-cap being closed)

@paradoxdesigns I've had this KDF-50E3000 for about 4 years and it's performed very nicely for everything I've used on it, including using dvi to hdmi from a couple different PC's for the last 2 years. The only drawback is that 1920x1080 is slightly bigger than the screen, but at least with the PC I can resize down to 1804x1014 which fits perfectly (and is running at 60Hz).

Just wanted to add that I recently put together a PC with a GTX 560 card and somehow the DVI - HDMI cable is actually carrying audio to my TV - I don't even have speakers plugged into the PC.
