Just spread the word, read up on the process, and search for others who have the same goal. YOU can save this country, in part.

In the last election for governor in WA State, we used Diebold optical scanners. The man in front of me said that the LED counter did not change when he put his ballot in to be scanned. We called over poll workers and we put in mine, which did change the counter. They said they'd make a note of it. The man left muttering, as I would, too.
I called up the election board and emailed a site where we were supposed to report voting irregularities, but I never heard back from any of them.
I read a thread on the blackbox site and some one said that you could only use certain writing instruments due to the content of the ink, a list of (i think it was 7) accepted writing instrument brands were given.
It's entirely possible that WHOEVER controls the final outcome of electronic machines, also controls the candidates; as far as who is willing to say, do, and agree to, the most, (with this controlling entity), in order to win the final vote... in each primary, and in the end. Yes they are most likely safe. In Illinois ballots are stored for 24 months in a safe at the county hall. The problem is they sit in stacks unless a very close election exists and a paid up front recount is requested.
Actually, the opposite is true. The more ballots they have, the more they have to fudge. The reason fraud was exposed in Florida in 2000, for example, was because Al Gore got negative votes (due to not enough people voting for Gore)

It leaves holes in the voting process that could allow for unscrupulous things like monitoring other's vote, selling votes, or extorting other's vote with blackmail or threat. You don't have to hack hundreds of voting machines to do that.
And the tech is just sitting there to get hacked as long as it receives input. 10 years ago a worm was spread through attachments if the user even hovered his mouse over the link. Sploit code is small for just this reason: to exploit the tiniest input methods.

Two voting companies & two brothers will count 80 percent of U.S. election using both scanners & touchscreens. Both ES&S and Diebold have been caught installing uncertified software in their machines. Firmware, still resides inside both electronic scanners and touchscreen machines capable of manipulating votes. Our democracy is a fraud.

Firmware can be hacked. Seamlessly. You can inject code into firmware, spoof the checksum so it won't be detected and it can be executed in response to whatever criteria the programmer desires. Nothing is safe at the hardware level.

Early recount results include: Electronic tallies that were off by several votes, paper ballots the were not read by electronic scanners (550 in one town), ballots that were not read because the voters used the wrong kind of marking pen. Also reported - some election records are missing, notably computer memory cards. Seach web to keep up.

In the last election for governor in WA State, we used Diebold optical scanners. The man in front of me said that the LED counter did not change when he put his ballot in to be scanned. We called over poll workers and we put in mine, which did change the counter. They said they'd make a note of it. The man left muttering, as I would, too.
I called up the election board and emailed a site where we were supposed to report voting irregularities, but I never heard back from any of them.

It's entirely possible that WHOEVER controls the final outcome of electronic machines, also controls the candidates; as far as who is willing to say, do, and agree to, the most, (with this controlling entity), in order to win the final vote... in each primary, and in the end. Whoever is the least agreeable, does not even register on the count! Even though a huge number of people may vote for that candidate. It's not THE VOTE that counts, but WHO COUNTS the votes, that matters.

These issues were indeed addressed in late 2002. Then a few states said they would look into it. In 2003 it really became known and Ohio had many who protested--see youtube. In 2004 FL was only a distraction while Ohio and the machines cinched the deal and Bush won. The elite WANT this for obvious reasons.

Yes they are most likely safe. In Illinois ballots are stored for 24 months in a safe at the county hall. The problem is they sit in stacks unless a very close election exists and a paid up front recount is requested.
After 24 months they are destroyed.

Actually, the opposite is true. The more ballots they have, the more they have to fudge. The reason fraud was exposed in Florida in 2000, for example, was because Al Gore got negative votes (due to not enough people voting for Gore)
