Yao Ming has more skill, he can score one on one with a soft touch with the fadeaway, or turnaround jumper. The NBA is now like the CBA. The big men are soft, and don't have much talent. Yao always dominates the best centers in the NBA because they try to play him 1-on-1, which I don't think any center can do at this point. Even back when Shaq was with the Lakers, and Yao was new to the league, Yao had some of his best games early on in his career where he dominated Shaq, who was at the time the best center in the NBA by far.
