  • @WC2002Truth Vile racist. Your mom said she was dissapointed last night

  • Japanese people are sickening.

  • another one of those fucking scum of the earth have been sentenced to death row today! YAY! These bunch of sadistic fucking cunts shouldn't even be sentenced to death but to a painful torture for the rest of their life. They tortured their not so loyal members with electric shocks etc and destroyed many families. They killed a lawyer who spoke out against them and his 3 year old son and wife. Now the group is renamed aleph and still exists due to Japanese freedom of religion in the constitution.

  • I going to start a Doomsday cult.

    anyone want to join?

  • @elchippe Depends, can it be doomsday for all the deserving and not for me?

  • @hxcteenagekicks will be for everyone.

  • Children run and hide as LSD rains from the sky.

  • What puzzles me is that these people are murderous buddhist. I don't understand, there isn't many examples of buddhist extremist in history before, what is the tipping point that make them violent ?

  • Shithole Asshole-hair-ah

  • i......i am dissapoint -__- (facepalm)

  • Fuck the NWO!!!

  • I'm curious how it went from happy dance election to murdering sadistic psychos.

  • damn i hate journeymanpictures THEY NEVER PUT SUBTITLES

  • @Frequent2001 I know right? The fuck...

  • subtitles would be nice. I've been studying japanese for 8 months, and i have no idea what they're saying.

  • @TTyger haha same here.

  • Hang the lot of them!

  • plain sad.

  • today its 15 years ago

  • WHERE ARE THE SUBTITLES?

  • CIA always style.

truth talk aum cult make stimulant(drug) poor factory.

  • This is sickening, but it disturbs me even further that this cult had a great number of physicists, chemists, and university graduates. If you can't trust these people to see past cults, who can you trust?

  • WOW!

  • @prsnth1111 Yourself.

  • This is what religion does.

  • @three11creatures-be specific,don't just make such a bold comment,you hollow headed twat.

  • @three11creatures , generalizing something without looking into details is a way to blindness, which THEY are eager to make you have.

  • Aum Shinrikyo is a prototype of Scientology.

  • Uh, no.

  • I don't mean prototype as in precursor, there are no links between scientology and Aum Shinrikyo... but it is a prototype in the sense it is clear Scientology is heading down the same path.

We can learn a lot about preventing Scientology going that way by studying Aum.

  • Perhaps. Hopefully not, but perhaps.

  • precedent would be a more appropriate term, prototype suggests it directly preceeded & influenced something

  • @handofsutekh

Very true, precedent is the word I was looking for as in Aum Shinrikyp can be seen as a precursor to scientology.

  • @Treblaine Except that Scientology predates Aum by thirty years.

  • @HappyMonkey7 hmm, good point. If Scientology was going to go postal they are taking their time about it.

But I still think we should learn lessons from secretive, insular and dogmatic cults like Aum and make sure they are NEVER allowed to be repeated.

  • @Treblaine scientology is older than aum shinrikyo

  • 日本一小汚い宗教団体、アーレフw

    社会人にもなれない、暴力団になる勇気もない、でもニート・フリ ーターはいやだ。

    そんな人たちの逃避場所、小汚いアーレフ。

  • and you called scientology a cult.......

  • Scientology is a cult.

  • So is christianity.

  • but scientology mosty.

  • No, christianity is just as much of a cult as scientology. Both believe in made up bullshit.

  • u have no life

  • Nope. I do. God still doesn't exist though. Sorry kid. Provide evidence or shut up.

  • there is no evidence. you won the debate. good job. what a great point ur making. cant prove something so it doesnt exist. your mind is very narrow. and for the record. asahara was warning about herumagedon. his teachings werent of any eternal salvific nature. just thought you should know before comparing ;)

  • Yeah and christians/jews warn about armageddon. What's the big difference? Btw, Heaven's Gate cult had eternal salvation. You had to kill yourself and escape earth before it got recycled lol. Both have no evidence backing them up. Until you have evidence that supports the various claims made by christianity, then your religion is no different than Aum Shinrikyo, because both make claims that have no supporting evidence.

  • ur wrong. but yea we believe in doctrines that can not be proven. therefore called faith not knowledge. nobody ever claimed that they knew. if you want to live your life in the hope that the only future you have is to rot in the ground then by all means do so. now go watch a video of bill maher and jack off

  • No, I'm not wrong. Your religion DOES warn of armageddon. Don't deny it. Well if faith is all you have then how do you know Aum Shinrikyo or Heaven's Gate was not correct? You are a hypocrite. Neither your religion nor Aum have any evidence supporting your claims therefore, neither of you have more credibility over the other. Your last statement completely invalidates all of your points. Have a nice day kid.

  • no it doesnt. you are one of those people that gets a kick out of debating stupid arguements. we do believe in armagedon BUT we dont put a date on it and we dont try to scare people with it. Again, do your research. and how on earth does my last comment invalidate anything. its not a statement buddy, its a suggestion.

so you dont believe in any metaphysical possibilty only because it cant be proven?

  • Yes, your religion IS a stupid argument. It doesn't matter. You believe in an armageddon, that makes your beliefs just as stupid as Aum Shinrikyo. You do try to scare people with it. You try to scare people into thinking they will go to hell unless they get saved by jesus, which is idiotic. I don't believe in any supernatural claim until you support your claim with EVIDENCE. Either put up or shut up.

  • we dont try to scare anybody. I dont know what some right wing fundamentalists are preaching but christianity is in no way a religion of fear. As for armagedon. I dont give it much thought. your beloved evidence even claims that the world will end. its scientific fact that stars increase in size (about 50 times their initial circumference) before collapsing, killing everything in its path.

i think it is you who should shut up

  • Of course our world will be destroyed one day. But we have scientific evidence to support that claim. Also scientists don't use that claim to make people afraid. On the contrary, it's kind of a benchmark to let people know that we better expand to other planets by then to ensure the survival of our species.

  • Yeah. I forgot all those people Jews gassed. Oh, wait....

  • and who beliefs in you?

  • Comment removed

  • @vvintermoon-Yes,and I believe you don't know the difference between 'their' and 'there.' It is no ones fault you have felt like an outsider, and treated like one your whole, meaningless life. If you don't believe in God,then don't,but you can rest assure, you're not a strong minded person.

  • Listen...why don't you both be quiet. There's no evidence to prove either theory (at least not yet). This is just like those pointless arguments over creationism and evolution...why couldn't God have caused the Big Bang and then created the universe from there? Anyhow, this is not the time or place for that (this video is a segment on Aum Shinrikyo, not whether God exists).

  • You see, now you can both be friends :).

  • True, but there's also no evidence to prove the theory that Santa Claus doesn't exist. Yeah he could have, but there's no supporting evidence for that, and it also begs the question of why he would do such a thing.

This is a video on a cult. Cults and religions have a very vague line differentiating them. As far as I'm concerned, there's no difference other than the fact that religion has more supporters.

  • dude. wtf are u talking about. time and place. do you feel good when ur talking like that? and btw i believe that God caused the Big Bang ;)

  • Sounds like the government turned a blind eye to it's citizen's safety, just like 9/11/01 in New York or Oklahoma city April 1995.

  • The reason cult gained support is very complex. But for one thing they know how to lure someone into the trap by attractive bait - from individual's anger towards society to a political tool used against and rival nations.

  • Actually, the westerners are as stupid as the Jap and the US gov (CIA) is supporting another cult called "Falung Gong" created by Li Hung Zhi from China. The reason FalungGong gained support from the west is because the statements they made suit the hidden political agenda of the west. Statements like the Chinese gov 'suppressed' and 'tortured' their followers are very much welcomed by the west. Much like how the American believed the WMD stories made by Saddam Hussien's opponents.

  • @yottky except falun gong hasnt launched nerve gas attacks in china

  • You have to hand it to the Japanese people...even when in a doomsday cult they are resourceful. American cult leaders David Koresh and Jim Jones could never have pulled anything like this off.

  • @karenkares only because koresh/jones never gave much thought to who they recruited into their "movements" and i doubt american scientists would be as gullible as their japanese counterparts in getting duped into a cult.

  • it sounds to me like the government doesnt givea shit about its people. For a developed country japan really has dreadfull communication with its people . its what youd expect from a third world country.

  • I hear the whales can't stand them either.

  • Religious freedom? I didn't say they should ban Aum, they have no right to and the "cult" has been totally misrepresented in the media. The government should however have taken notice of such groups, especially when they're moving chemicals around. It was just crazy to let these activities go unchecked.

  • I agree. I work in the public sector here in Japan, and I've been advised not to associate myself with a friend who was raised in another NRM called "Koufuku no Kagaku." It's an odd, yet fairly harmless group, and I don't see why I can't have friends in that group.

  • The Japanese government is just as much to blame for the death and injuries to innocent people. How could all those activities go unnoticed? money and individuals reputaion. Government in Japan needs a wake up call and let`s hope it doesn`t take somethign like this for it to happen again.

  • @stubar85

yeah, it was because of the japanese government that the samurai period has ended.

  • the chemist is hot

  • "Religion is the opium of the society."

  • "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people" If you're going to try and quote Karl Marx quote him correctly

  • I'm a legend! Quote of the millenium!!!

"It just shows, no matter how clever or old you are, you can still believe in fantasy (fairy tales)."

That just about sums up human addiction to religion! You people can't handle the fact that you fade to nothing! That one day, you'll be plant fertilizer. No 'soul'! No nothing!

"We're so 'switched on'. There MUST be something more for us!" NOPE

We're THE SAME as bacteria! Lifeforms that exist now and rot away later. Nothing more!

  • you can't prove or disprove the concept of an afterlife. in my opinion it's foolish to pick a side... just wait and see we all get to find out for ourselves eventually.

  • Actually, you're quite right! I've come to a similar conclusion - that it's quite alright to just say "I don't know" and to leave it at that. But most people have a need to know (that which they'll never know, at least not while they're alive). They can't handle the... possibility that there may be nothing more so they believe in anything. They believe in fantasy.

  • We humans, or some portion of us, are biologically evolved to belief in such an things. The more mind boggling they are the better.

  • I may not be able to understand what they're saying BUT murder in any language is wrong. Who did they think they were? All very (supposedly) intelligent people. It just goes to show, no matter how bright you are... no matter how old you are, you can still believe in fantasy. You humans are your own worst enemies

(Even too horrible for war - that's a laugh).

  • Shoko Assahara is one ugly motherfucker.

  • too bad there are no subtitles:( half of the video is in Japanese only

  • sickening
