@enesjei "Genie" and "Mr. Taxi" look quite similar to what Namie Amuro has done in the past, so of course it would be quite popular in Japan. I've been into the modern Japanese culture since I was little so of course I know what Harajuku and Visual Kei are. But if you look at some Harajuku styles, especially the break down of lolita in regards to "sweet" and "baby" lolita, I'd say those are REALLY cutesy. And since that's popular I'd REALLy say that Japan's into cutesy material.

I love SNSD. You just don't. If they cheated and this award was something that could be cheated at, then why would you care so much in the very first place? 2NE1 deserved the "Best Female Group of 2011" Award. They have accomplished so much in 2011. They came out with a lot of songs that became a hit this year, such as, "UGLY", "Lonely", "Hate You", "Can't Nobody", and "I Am The Best". They are named as the best international band by MTV's Iggy. And 2NE1 had the largest Debut Tour in Japan from any K-POP group, at an audience of 70,000. If its anyone's year, its their's - or should have been...

SNSD was the one who sold almost 230k albums in just 12 days.

Yes, they just had their comeback in Korea, but this is an Asia Music Award, not Korea. This is the result of their hardwork throughout this year. It's sad someone who proclaims to be a SONE denying SNSD's hardwork which is so apparent. Ignorance is not bliss, it's folly incarnate.

Notice Namie Amuro, Utada Hikaru, Yuna Ito, and Ayumi Hamasaki are all from Japan and of course their promotions would reach out to Japan FIRST. I'm thinking that since 2NE1 and SNSD are from S. Korea, their S. Korea comebacks would count more than their Japanese debuts/comebacks.

I'm a BlackSONE, and even though I am ABSOLUTELY happy and congratulate SNSD for their win, you can't say that SNSD is better than 2NE1. 2NE1 is loved by both Asia and international status. Something that SNSD doesn't exactly have. So to say that SNSD is "WAAAAYYY BETTER" than 2NE1 isn't true. And it's funny because SNSD are hardcore Blackjacks and 2NE1 are SONES. So yes, being in two hip hop stars' favors who are also the PIONEERS in western hip hop, and having a VERY well known and very good producer like Will.I.Am does help.
