This was actually a very interesting video. I am an aircraft mechanic who has been thinking about changing career fields and you brought out serveral points that were interesting. As far as the butcher posistion, it used to be a much better job and was considered semi skilled. Butchers used to be the highest paid in the grocery industry. It seems like "factory" anyting has lowered the wage for almost any job. It may make prices cheaper also but Im not sure its worth the trade off.
