  • youtube "masagin". I cannot stress that enough

  • Comment removed

  • very coool!! awesome coding!

  • the edits are so fast i cant figure out what im looking at :(

  • some very clever stuff in there, but you need to learn how to pace the edits between diferent clips/effects, as there is too much squeezed into a little time here, you dont get enough time to really see anything before it changes into the next section... a shame... looks though it could be quite good.

  • I Love some Demos, i use this as Benchmark for all PC.

  • where do ya get the full HD version

  • Awesome.

  • this is SO cool :D

  • F'n AMAZING and Humbling... if only I could put some of that artistry to work... why don't you guys create a virtual video editing sandbox with a rendering farm. Each additional video editor, coder, writer's computer could increase the net processing power... ehh ehh.... any takers!

  • @MagnanimousMichael The point is that although you are watching this as a video, all of this footage is produced at real time. It is not rendered at a slow pace into images, and then played back from the images.

The video here is captured so you don't have to download and run the programs on your computer to watch the demos, and because they are excerpts from various demos. However, you can, and should. If you thought it was humbling, you should watch it on your machine, in fullscreen HD.

  • @bitsplit

done in the 80's , c64 and amiga 500 ,old hat......

  • how are these demos actually made?

  • By coding and searching by hardware tricks.

  • @SmashleyAshley1 It's code and some hardware glitches

  • lots of coding, handmade stuff, no 3d software.

  • Biggest demoscene party in the US looks like a big green NVidia logo. Lol, I guess the demoscene really is dead.

  • the demoscene never was big in the US, look at the european parties instead.

  • @snuggl123 true, true and true.

  • Needs HD badly!

  • Demoscene > Media industry

    1. Works are freely available...

    2. ...Worldwide!

    3. No risk of getting sued when distributing it.

  • Cool,i'm sick and tired of copyright bullshit! DNB 4EVA!

  • @1alopezpr I'll second that! i'm fed with the copyright BS and all the lawsuits against eachother. Why the F* does people have to bee so greedy and angry all the f*ing time...

What's wrong with doing something cauze it's fun and you wanna show people what you can do?

  • @VE3n0m,thanks for second my opinion.

  • @artman40 - But no delicious sauce for either of them. >:(

  • @artman40 However...don't steal tunes to produce Nelly Furtado songs :)

  • @artman40 However, we will happily sue Timbaland for stealing tunes from us ;)

  • Lol, fr025 at 2,07

  • Wow. Good work guys.

  • Very Nice! Were can i download this video in high resolution(like xvid or somthing)?

  • excellent work!

  • @gameswindows:

    ...

    -.-

  • The only word I can say to this is: Awesome, simply awesome.

  • excellent work

    really really liked it

  • are all of these 64kb?

  • nah.. I don't think they are 64kb intros! Those effects looks like effects used in demos.

  • A few of the effects are in fact from a 64KByte intro called : Chaos Theory. The last scene is from Lifeforce by ASD which is a full size demo (if I may use this term). The rest, I don't recognise but take a look at the credits at the end of the video and check them out.

  • wow thanks man the life force demo is epic .. but i cant seem to find the chaos theory 1 you mentioned ... any help ?

  • Popular Demo by Farbrausch is around 8 megs... but if you view it you'll know why. Whereas Debris by Farbrausch is a 64kb demo, and you would never know it.

  • @falconfira Don't think Debris is a 64k demo, it's just a Demo? think the executable is just under 200kb? Altho i will not argue that you would never know it was that small. The graphic content is just as good as a 1.2 GB mpeg files made in 3Ds max for a beginner/semi-good 3D artist. All the love to Farbrausch, Conspiracy, Fairlight and all other!

  • Very-very good! I liked it very much..

  • That's real programming, art, and well applied science knowings: creators really know were the rabbit is.

  • orgasmic..

  • awesome in every aspect

  • Lovely vid, music took me back to my standing in a field very early on a sunday morning chomping my face days :P Good job!

  • woah! very cool! demostyle how we love it!!!

perfect soundtrack, nice sync and must see imho!

  • very nice reel... makes me wish i had a better video card really. FYI a geforce with 32mb on a laptop will only run stuff from 2004, if anyone is curious. The dancing disco guy (courtesy of Farb-Rausch's The Party Demo) is the last thing i could run in real time.

  • Awesome demos! Thank you for posting this nVidia.

  • 3:08 is A Puzzle peice in Linger in shadow!!! awesome

  • nice video. what hardware did they use?

  • Why does the computer they're playing on matter? If you mean the music tools, they're in the description. ==>

  • well i would like to get the card they used. i did read the info but they dont say.

  • youtube poop of the future.

  • Great music and some cool scenes.

  • Remember to watch this in high quality. The improvement is quite significant. :)

  • Why the hell there are prods which even weren't at NVScene?

  • This was released as a teaser for NVScene. Kinda hard to include demos not yet made. :)

  • Ah, pardon my stupidity

  • It's mostly OpenGL and/or assembler level optimization. Some use mostly C++ now with packers though.

  • wtf kind of insanity did they use to render that in realtime?

  • It's magic, isn't it?

  • A 7xxx-series NVIDIA-card will render all of this without problems. You don't even need a very beefy CPU, 2GHz should be more than enough.

  • super1337 music by Gloom or Transistorbass

  • what genre might the music be?

  • i think dnb

  • if it's dnb, then liquid dnb :D I don't think it's dnb tho

  • I like the music

  • watch?v=1UEOZGFzPas

  • no it doesnt

  • Great "demoreel", crappy youtube video quality :/.

  • come on, no one ever use nvidia hardware like that in games. all game maker do i put same old fps's and wow.

  • youtube isn't ready for NVidia , lolz

youtube kills the quality and the loading time is hell on high quality , lol

  • ur internet speed is slow lol

  • It takes like 10 seconds to buffer... that aint low...

  • L2 comp bro ram jeeze quick life

  • Add &fmt=18 at the end of link and quality much increase

  • Wow, nice!

  • so awesome

  • D: so confused!

  • woah

  • Watch in HQ for more glops!

  • Can't wait!

  • nice

  • even if it wasn't realtime (and only 64k some of them shown) it'd still be some of the best animation and art I've seen

  • awesome

  • cool 5/5

  • cool

  • O0O0O0O NEAT
