  • Thank god you chose Dani for #1! She's my favorite gymnast of all time, and by far the best floor worker. Thanks, that was a beautiful selection of gymnasts! One of the best lists I've seen so far that was free from bias and full of lovely gymnastics.

  • @QueenieQue Thank you :)

  • I prefer Omelianchik in first, Illienko 1981 worlds in 2nd and Zmeskal 1991 worlds AA in 3rd...but you have some GREAT choices!!!

  • @MANMARTRE Thank you!!

  • You kick ass for whom you chose for #1...Thank you! By far the best floor worker ever. She is incomparable.

  • @bluebirdsin thank you!! Daniela was always amazing on floor and she is imo one of the best gymnasts ever.

  • After having another look @ your vid Mrs T, does someone shout out during Maria Filatova's routine "go sexy" ha ha

Its just after she lands her first tumbling run.....could be my ears though!

  • @garyj79 lol yes i heard that too so someone must have said it.

  • Though Lashenova was a tremendous tumbler it was kind of boring to see her throw 3 double backs into her routine, clever yes, just a bit un-original (in no way am I taking her out of your top ten Mrs T ! ) im sure she had power to throw a full in on one of them or a triple twist......

  • @garyj79 maybe it was boring but i guess she did it because she had so much on her first tumbling but like you say she was very powerful and i think she could have done a double double.

  • @mrsTorrard88 - thx, I hope it didnt come across as a critiscm of her being in your personal top ten, It wasnt! im assuming that wouldnt be allowed in todays rules anyway, three tumbling runs being the same???

  • @garyj79 yeah it would be a deduction and actually i agree with you it would be boring and because she cowboyed the double twist which was very common in the 80s it looks ugly. One of the best double twists i have seen would be Nelli kim in 1976 on floor.

  • Yes I like the first one too!

I love that backbend at 1:00 which is slow, the little walk she does with her feet, all the dance moves and she stuck the landing without taking a step back (which I don't really like, I am not really a fan of the prepare, breathe, shrug and salute).

    Second one:

I love the little layout kick thing at 2:14 and then all the continuous bouncy handsprings.
