Mega Man is simply great because of its simplicity and awesome graphics and music. Mega Man X was a setup from the 8bit era and continued the storyline of the classic series. Mega Man Zero continued the Mega Man X storyline. I havent played the other series because they look uninteresting. I'd rather go right and shoot other robots than be in third person and lock on to things

My opinion is that Megaman X is the best megaman series followed by the zero series. Megaman Zero was great except that it's does'nt give a lasting impression to me. The X series is my personal favorite It's really fun, I don't get tired of it.

Anyway my top 5 would be:

1. Megaman X

2. Megaman Zero

3. Megaman

4. Megaman ZX

5. Megaman Legends

Battle network is fun but the repetitive gameplay makes me tired of it and starforce I haven't played it.

Megaman zero is not even close to be as good as megaman x or megaman.

I respect your opinion and al, but the gameplay in megaman x and megaman were far superior to that of zero.

That is where your wrong megaman zero took all the concepts from megaman and megaman x and made it 10x more harder and funner. Also it has everyones favourite character as the star ZERO :D but X still rocks.

But yeah we all have our own opinions, im not saying zero was bad im just saying the other ones were far better.

LOL? have you tried the zero series without using elves?? try that then come back and tell me if it was not harder than previous megaman games. Also even tough i put the x series 2nd(and its has my favourite character... original X) i still feel after x5 the rest is just a waste. But then again the zero series starts from x5 so i dont really want to count them.

the megaman zero cames were extremely well made and alot of fun to play, you should really try them out! although it might be a bit tough to find them.... i would recommend the used gba games section in a game stop or a eb games
