fisheye lenses give you a wider field of view, or a wider angle and you can fit more in the shot. look around the outer edges of the video, do you see everything is kind of curved, and objects close to the edges get distorted? thats from the fisheye as well.

shardsofmay,look on the lens of ur camera and it will tell u what size lens u have. most sony's are 37mm but some are different. the measure of mm is the number next to the symbol that looks like a circle with a slash thru it.

yes my camera is 30.5mm you can buy things called "adapter rings" or "step rings"

they have them on the internet and photography stores.

Yeah the adapter rings are probably like $5-10 i guess, i forgot how much mine was, try searching google or ebay maybe you can find some prices. wide angle and fisheye might be different, im not sure. but fisheye gives it a curved looked around the edges, wide angle might not have that effect. hm try reading my comments for this vid because i remember discussing this question before. thanks for watching
