@pauloteixeirapiano Either with my ears or with his playing....But what I meant was that I don't like the performance because of its overall sound and interpretation but I did not brake it down in my mind as to why I did not like it. Now I don't know who is your favorite pianist or if you have one but this one does not deliver everything that this movement can offer. At least that is what I think.
@mikeandvarda that was a very stupid joke of mine, sorry. In fact his playing is very unconsensual and I fully respect your opinion. I really love the uncontroled way of his playing and, most of all, his amazing and unique sound. Responding to your question, if i had to chosse my favorite pianist, it would be, with no doubt, Sviatoslav Richter. My Beethove's favorites are too Emil Gilels and Rudolph Serkin.
@pauloteixeirapiano I don't like when people call pianists like Bashkirov bad it is completely wrong. Those people have studied for a long time and dedicated themselves to their music ...however i also do not like when they are compared to giants like Richter or Horowitz. I can't say that Bashkirov is a bad and while you might like him I do not. In Beethoven's moonlight sonata is about love and the third movement is about a broken heart. Bashkirov is overdoing and he does not sound clear enough.
@klausknulp I am a pianist performer and I don't like this interpretation of Beethoven op. 27.
Every one has his opinion and the only stupid comment here is your sentence that doesn't respects the different opinion about the interpretative style of Beethoven !!! If you don't accept comment stop it on you tube or accept it.
Something is wrong with this....
