I don't really think the arrests were random, since property at Hunter (my college) was destroyed, which is gonna have to be paid for with money that could have gone to other stuff. The school may be ugly, but it doesn't look like a prison, and you know your protest is a little dumb when people cheer at such an asinine and irrelevant statement.

If your a student at cuny, i hope you realize that Cuny was created for the working class and was made affordable (free at one point) because because of public dissent, if you go to hunter, you should also know it was school occupations in the sixties that help desegragate cuny, and protest and demoes in the 90's that put pressure on the city not to cut fin. aide and raise tuition (like its happening now)
