T-Rex is an always will be The King....It didn't need arms... it had a mouth of heavy bacteria an a bite force 2 or 3 times if not stronger then an Alligator... That's just insane.
All T-Rex had to do was ambush prey an get 1 solid bite... it either would mean instant death or with it's great sense of smell wait till it got weak an died an sniff it out.
Good new video, though it's a shame Horner and a few paleontologists (I don't actually know who they are) continue with their "T-rex was a scavenger" paleontological crankery. It's high time they stopped beating a very dead horse!
tyrannosaurus by default would be the top predator because Troodon couldn't bring down a Triceratops or Ankylosaurus. Not to mention that many paleontalogist say trex was faster than other theropods so these and other factors make the 100% scavenger threory improbable.
If T-Rex is a scavenger, and Giganotosaurus is a predator, how come T-Rex's jaws were much more powerful? Why did T-Rex have binocular vision and the eyes of an eagle? Why does T-Rex have bigger teeth than Giganotosaurus? If T-Rex is a scavenger, then Giganotosaurus would also have to be so Jackass Horny boy is stupid. :P
@planetary109 Actually he believed both Tyrannosaurus and Giganototsaurus (and Carcharodontosaurus) were scavengers.I think I saw it in one of the videos TyrannosaurusTV uploaded
That's more than enough of a bite to expose the nutritious bone marrow for one's stomach acids to digest. Quite an advantage, that is.
