  • I love that car!! Especially the track key feature and that amazing sound!

  • I've got an idea...how bout some real audio equipment guys? Oh that comes with the Laguna Seca youtube package? Oh ok.

  • the track key main purpose is to eliminate or regulate the performance settings by the owner to the driver of choice, in other words, sure son(daughter wife girlfriend brother whoever) you can drive the car to the store (but not in performance mode)

  • what's the different in driving?

  • They need another key that drops the HP down to 150 so retards at the dealership don't put your car on the 6 o'clock news around a telephone pole.

  • They should make another key for eco mode, another one if you want to have the TC off by the time you start the car and another key if you drive the car during foggy days...wtf

  • Hahaha!! MUSTANG IT'S THE BUST CAR ;)

  • SEX

  • @MrMustang im expressing my opinion ok hellllo, if you got butthurt go put on a tampon silly rabbit

  • hahahahahaha ommfg...8 years ago when our shop tried to get lunati to work with ford and the tuners (diablo and others) to make the Ghost Cam tuning they all could not see the vision for it. Now hell, ford makes it factory on these cars. I knew we should have gone ahead and patented that tech, gawd how funnyh is that?.once again great iodeas stymied by old skool sk=cholars, only to resurface later as "the next newest thing". one day I'l;l learn.lmmfao at myself, and prolly will all day long

  • "FORD RACING, WE RACE, YOU WIN" JAJAJAJA LMFAO i know shitstangs always lose you dont have to remind me!!

  • @ChevyBoyTilliDie You feel better there buddy. Nobody is even talking shit but here comes chevyboy to stir up some trouble. GTFO

  • @ChevyBoyTilliDie Are you sure? All Mustangs burn the Camaro and the Challenger.

  • @undertake782 you silly rabbit fords are 4 kids ;p

  • @ChevyBoyTilliDie I guess kids beat the big boys.

  • @ChevyBoyTilliDie Really, Motor Trend says, "Even with improved suspension and more power the ZL1 doesn't stand a chance against the Boss Mustang on the race track," I guess you're like every other Chevy Idiot, FOS

  • @1vdn992 blah blah blah blah ill pick up more bitches on a chevy its proven silly rabbit

  • @ChevyBoyTilliDie Never!!!!!!!!!!in your dreams

  • @ChevyBoyTilliDie ummm, ok, if that is what you have to tell yourself before you goto sleep alone to justify your Chevy purchase. Whatever works for YOU.....

  • @1vdn992 definatly everyone thinks th camaro will be faster but how? the zl1 is estimated to weigh in at over 4000lbs and im sorry but i dont think that extra 120hp will help it the boss laguna seca edition weighs in at just over 3400lbs its all about weight not to mention i think the mustang has lower gears

  • Any chances of Ford Releasing this program for 2011-2012 GT owners so we can benefit from some of these features on our Mustangs? They do use the same computer dont they? AWESOME SOUND and i really like the launch control feature. just wish i could get some of these features on my 2011 GT?

  • just the sound of the exhaust gave me chills...I'm in love

  • I love the lope....great job Ford...I have my 2006 expedition paid off in 4 months then I can trade my 1999 taurus (long paid for) in on either a GT or a boss.

  • the bottom of that rear bumper looks like its been under the sea..probably in an octopusses garden :)

  • With TracMode activated, Ford claims that more than 200 engine management parameters are altered--including cam and ignition timing, fuel control, and engine braking--resulting in increased low-end torque, increased throttle response, and performance that's best suited for the track.

Just not sure if I like the fake cam sound?

Next update for the boss needs to be a 4" bore and higher lift cams...Hello 500 N/A HP!

  • @peaty427 "fake cam sound"? That doesn't make any sense. It has aggressive cam profiles available on demand thanks to variable cam timing. Nothing fake about it.

  • Nice! But hmmm... what is that silver car with the Mustang Wheels? I don't recognize that Mustang... Developmental 2014 possibly?

  • @benjaminhutzler Those aren't Mustang wheels. That's a Hyundai Genesis Coupe, a base model in fact...Nothing Ford or 2014 about it.

  • Ford is doing big things these days. That engine sounds so strong with the Trackey

  • Is there a noticeable performance gain when using the tracKey? Does it achieve the 444hp with the regular key as well? And are the impressive numbers I've heard so far only accomplished with the tracKey?

  • The tracKey actually cost $302 lol

  • @oneofakindtrini

You get the key with the car but you have to pay $302 bucks to activate it....

  • @mstrchief43

ehh thats what I was getting at lol

  • can u get the trackey on any boss u buy or just the laguna

  • Id love to have whats under the hood and the performance of this Mustang but im not crazy about the bidy style....but over all id still take it lol.

  • People stfu!!!! They did this car to compete against the M3 so stfu with your Corvettes two different types of cars, boss 302 is aiming to compete against European cars such as the M3 I know because I got the magazine and read it and know what are there goals for the Boss 302 and yes they succeeded and bear the M3 big time... Fuck you Corvette :)

  • damn the track key mode makes it sound more like it has bigger cams in it! thats awsome.

  • sounds like God with a megaphone

  • Comment removed

  • My only concern is if it will void the warranty.

  • @hendo337 are you talking about the key... this is from ford .. you get it when you buy the damn car

  • @MrMustang210 No track key is A Ford Racing Product you have to pay extra for at the dealership.

  • Why are people always bringing up the Vette and trying to compare it to a muscle car?? Two completely different cars, not targeted at each other.

More proof that youtube has turned the vast majority of people into retards.

  • @FoodMoTron3k Because there is nothing else to compare it to? Government Motors is taking bailouts and building 3900lb-4300 Camaros on a globally shared full sized sedan platform with 67% foreign content.

  • OOOHHHHHH!!!!! That second key sounds like sex!

  • I am betting the 'BOSS' doesnt even have anything for the base C6 corvette let alone a ZO6 or ZR1.

  • Ford makes some awesome cars.

  • ...That sounds like the best sex any human could possibly have.

  • Don't get me wrong I think this is awesome, but wouldn't it just be easier to have a "RACING mode" button like most cars?

  • @sdlausen

This way you can give a valet your normal key, and keep the hotter key. Or if you have kids or a spouse who , well, shouldn't be driving hard, you give them the normal key.

  • @32vfromhell Great points, but would YOU seriously give the keys of your Boss 302 to your kid or spouse??? I see this being effective on base cars like a focus or Fusion not a 400hp + track car. I still think it's neat to have the different keys, but buttons with different modes would have been much simpler.

  • @sdlausen

Heck no I wouldnt! LOL! Doesn't mean there arnt those who are crazy enough to try it!

Oh, I agree there are other ways to do it. This is an innovative marketing trick, that happens to have a couple practical uses. =)

  • @sdlausen yes it would be easier but would it be safer? Absolutely not. Ford focus's on Saftey more than any other american manufacture. the sole purpose of a trac key is so lets say for an example your dad loans you his boss 302 for a hot date. to prevent you from doing anything stupid he'll give you the standard key because that will prevent you from using the trac mode.

  • @adiosk8r91 Once again, why would a father loan his prized 302 to his son if he didn't trust him? Track mode or not, the car is already a beast. Your point is void.

  • @sdlausen you never know these days with how some people are. Ford did it to be safe regardless if anyone is going to do it or not.

  • @sdlausen Because it is easier to do this. I have known many people that get to the track, get in line, go through tech, and get to the starting line. All to forget when they turned the car off last to flip it back to race, or turn the traction control off, and almost kill the car on the line, or any other number of things that happens when you have to push buttons after starting the car.

This way, you take a key. Put it in the ignition once you get to the track. Set your launch RPM, and go.

  • @sdlausen to completely reset the ecu profile of the car, the vehicle would have to have the engine shut off, easier to do 2 keys over having a button that would restart the engine...yknow?

  • @ADD8oi

not true.....99-04 mustangs used to be able to have SCT switch which you switch tunes while engine was running and at any time.....

wrong again! LOL they put two keys, one for DD and for track

  • @sdlausen i think thats what the germans call, 'luxury'? or something?

  • @sdlausen This would keep the kids off the loud pedal ;)

  • @Daytonaman675 Why would you let your inexperienced kid drive your Boss? Just a thought.

  • the change is so drastic u have to shut it off.

  • @sdlausen yes, but the thing is that Ford can sell you a track key.

  • @sdlausen its also cooler having 2 keys ;)

  • @sdlausen this is cooler

  • @sdlausen Its a way to be different

  • @sdlausen no, that wouldn't be something special :D

i like that feature with two keys :p

  • another CRAPMARO killer.

  • @drfaticus MAN,,ARE THOSE BOWTIE BLOWHARDS REALLY IN FOR IT NOW!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS HENRY FORD,,GOD BLESS CARROL SHELBY!!!!!! FORD FREAKIN RULES!!!!!!!!!!! here chevy,,chevy,,chevy!!! to all you bowtie gattots,,THEY DON'T CALL THIS MUSTANG "THE BOSS FOR NOTHING!!!!" you chevy boys will quickly get acquainted this these mustang taillights,,,that's all you crapmaro owners will EVER see of this car anyway!!!

  • @EXTIQUE true,the SCRAPMARO is done.

  • @EXTIQUE thats what you ford tools said about the gt 500 all we heard about was this is the super car that was going to beat the VETTE yet that slow turd can barely kept up with the SS. Just wait untill the new superchange ss comes out i think its going to be a close fight. The 2011 mustangs are quick but I think if they dont change anything on them before 2012 the ss is going to run right with the mustang.

  • @gmrtg1414 Yawn, my buddy's new 2011 GT500s is running 11.6s@122mph, STOCK. They weigh 3800lbs, (less than an all motor new Camaro). The new supercharged Camaro will weigh 4300lbs, and make the same power. Yawn. Yawn.

  • Comment removed

  • @gmrtg1414 No, GM techs already announced it will weigh close to what a CTS-V weighs.

A regular CTS weighs as much as a Camaro, the 2 and 4 doors don't mean anything. The Camaro is a huge car, it already weighs 3900lbs without the blower, intercooler, magnetic ride. 2 piston brakes, interior upgrades, forged engine, heavier wheels, etc, etc.

  • I hope ford racing comes out with a tune liek this for us that have the 2011s 5.0s. I love that idle thumping sound without having to change cams.

  • I'd throw away the standard key! Haha

  • Haha i know what key ill be using everyday

  • Love the sound and I'd do it just for that alone, but I'm wondering what, if any, performance advantage the track key provides.

  • @AncientMotorBiker The car is actually underrated, we'll have to wait for dyno figures, but the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L was dynoed at 435 hp by Motor Trend, and the BOSS is extensively modified so figure on another 30 to 40 hp or approximately 435 + 30-40 = in my estimation 465 to 475 hp for a normally aspirated 5.0L Ford.

The standard Key will give you better street performance, that's why all manufacturers tune for that.

  • Comment removed

  • @ReverseWhiplash That's odd, Inside Line did at least 7 dyno pulls, with a 2011 Mustang GT, and measured 395 rwhp on 91 octane. Mathematically what does that calculate to be? I'll give you a little help,

Driveline loss for a solid axle-equipped car like the Mustang is typically 11-13%. This is a bit less than the usual 15-18% you'd expect on an IRS car, as solid axles have fewer power-sapping U-joints in their driveline. Hence, we should expect to see about 358-367 rwhp from this car.

  • I really don't see the point in a key that will never be used... the regular key that is!

  • @BAH2005MustangGT That ones for the Wife lol

  • That's Really HOT!!!

  • I saw a Boss Laguna Seca outside of the PDC with snow's on it wondering who the heck would put snows on their Boss LS? LOL. But it was prob this development car.

  • Oh yes, yes please, says the Great White North and a spurned SVT owner...My 97 snake was an all weather threat on Dunlop winter skins...

  • What will they think of next? Purdy cool!
