@AbletonInc type ezdrummer vintage rock into youtube and watch the vid..it is an extra kit add-on kit for ezdrummer that sounds just like john bonham's kit..it is sooooo cool..
Does EZ Drummer allow you to make drum track where you can email them to your friends or burn them onto a cd? PS> I know you use your keyboard, but I saw youtube video's where you can play along with a Yamaha DD-55. You should get one of these, it may make it a little easier. Just a suggestion of course. Thanks for the video.
No you do not. I was just triggering the EZ Drummer Audio Unit plug in with the Fantom X7. The internal drum and kits on the X7 are great by themselves!
Thanks hudog! I'm still debating if I should get a keyboard/ software combo, korg padkontrol/ software combo or just get an electric drumkit for my home studio (electric samples can be great nowdays with no micing involved and potentially easy editing). It's for rock and reggaeish type stuff. I'm leaning towards a mid level $1500-2500 Roland electric kit, which would probably be the best bet for any guest musicians using my equipment.
what`s up man.. that`s sick!! i love it.. look i have the ezdrummer kit.. a midi keyboard, and i`m using nuendo.. but i have a latency problem... i already have the asio4all, and i`ve tryed the asio from nuendo.. but still... my computer s a pentium 4, 2.6, 512RAM.. do i need more ram to solve that kind of trouble??? help me please!!! thanks!!!!
Your latency probably has more to do with your audio interface and RAM than anything else... You'll need to step up to at least 2GB to do anything without latency in Nuendo
You need a soundcard that has a HARDWARE low latency . No matter what software driver or seq u use, you cannot improve on HARDWARE LATENCY.
Does you computer "break" the sound or is it continous? Expand ONLY when needed. I work on big orchestral sounds (film style) so I use a quad core with 2 Gig of ram, yet a friend of mine does hiphop and uses a P4 with only one gig of ram.
I would recomend that you upgrade to 1Gb of ram though, considering that it's preety cheap.
Sure. You would have to remap them to the correct midi notes in EZ Drummer but that's about it. The pads velocity sensitive so they could work. Smaller than other pad controllers but fine I guess.
An average set for bigginers and a set of 5 mics would cost around 650-850 euros, depending on your preferances and the place you'll buy them from. Have fun with your new kit!
Thanks, but I have another question...I've recently got ToonTrack EZ Drummer but it doesn't have any exe application, I installed it well, but none application appears, just plugins...is it a standalone program?
I already found a stand alone application, I think it is unofficial, but it works. Well, it doesn't work for me cuz it seems it needs ASIO drivers and I don't have ASIO compatibility in my card.
There is a .dll file that comes with the package. Copy that file to the VST Plugins folder of any music sequencer at hand (You're gonna need one - I use Fl Studio). Download it off isohunt(dot)com.
what the fuck. That was crazy. I wanted to get this program, or the drumcore (or both, who knows?) deluxe program. I don't know how the hell I'm gonna be able to do shit like that though. You people are crazy haha.
he he. the next video of me using the new Session Drums from Ableton should satisfy your dynamic crave. coming soon. this was just a camera mic directly on the side of the keyboard. nothing fancy.
Ive been finger drumming for like 15 years....got 16 keyboards....9 drum machines...and i use to play the pads so much my fingers would crack and bleed..lol....i can rock the dr 600 dr 770 and the dr 880.....nice
I want to be able to play like that. I have no problems with piano, keyboard etc. But finger drumming... I can't do that that well. How did you learn that?
it was a natural progression from being a drummer in my younger days and diving head first into computers and keyboard palying and programming several years ago.
lot's of practice and of course working with good library sounds and kits from EZ drummer and Roland helps : )
Keep an eye out for my new Ableton Live 7 Session Drum demo coming soon to the Youtube/ableton section
Dats crazy... I love how u did that i have ez drummer 2 but i cant work it like that.. I'm trien 2 us it ass a plug in for Cubase sx3 ... Do u have any tips
