I almost bought an Evo IX but got an Ms3 instead, plus when i saw the insurance for the Evo I was like O_o holy shit lol. Im 23 you get the picture lol. Im am loving the ms3 though.
@ManicPhoenix Nah The Evo was used of course around 26k but when my insurance looked into it, it was almost twice the price of what im paying now lol. The MS3 is still under the radar in insurace eyes due it being fairly new but it they'll catch on. lol
and dg did piece it together from the speed 6 and cx9 but im thinkin they have come out with the conversion kit and its around 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! fuck that.
so the only thing you've done at the time of this video is cobb intake??? cuz i got a mazdaspeed 3 and fuel cut is at factory 15.6. if you go higher than that it will cut off.

Mazda didn't make it...DG Motorsports did...and it's not a car that anyone in the public can just go out and buy...you would have to piece together the AWD system from the Speed6 and put it on a Speed3 like DG did.
um... since when is there a huge difference between a non-mr evo and an mr evo? they're the same hp/tq, the mr just has different shocks, 6 speed, lighter hood/roof, rims, hids w/ foglights, and a couple other things. but as far as speed and power, they're the same.

22-23 psi on a evo is stock boost.... wow big deal the evo runs 23psi stock and tapers to 19psi at redline... Those mazdaspeeds are quick ill give them credit but my bone stock sti is still a car length quicker than a modded mazdaspeed 3 with fmic and full exhaust and intake and standback ecu...

my car pulled the slightly modded MS3 by a car length from 2nd to 5th gear just by a car length... what ever gap i would get from traction loss from the MS3 it would maintain that gap. My car is the 07 STI which has more wheel hp than the older year sti's and also taller gearing 2nd 3rd and 4th than the older years..
depends on the year of ur sti. i beat a 05 sti wit my bone stock ms3 twice, (not by alot but i won)half a car by the way, on a roll power loss differential is wut kills stis and evos. so ill take my $23k ms3 and race any bone stock $33k evo or $32k sti on a roll and stomp all day put my money on it.
I have to agree with everyone here. A stock STI will not beat a lightly modded speed3. The mazdaspeed CAI adds 20whp alone. a mazdaspeed downpipe adds another 30whp alone. those are very light mods. it just happens that they open up a lot more ponies than other cars. Dyno proven.
btw, a stock STi cannot beat a speed3 with all that mod you listed. Impossible. My friend and I already beat 07 STi. all we had was stock mazda3 rims (a lot lighter) and cold air intake. the STi lost by 2 car lengths.

That's drag racing. All wheel drive has edges at starts. :) But evo are powerful. Bad things about all wheel drive is that you always do some aligning. Ehehehe! :P
Walked? No. A car length is not walked. I have a Mazdaspeed 3 and "walked" a stock '03 Mustang GT. Like the other guy said, props to the Speed 3 for keeping up.
