i'm with raven on that one, the power rangers? lol it's all good though. i just wish they would make some movies like this now that computer aided graphics are so killer. i want some mech warrior movies and more stewart gordan style movies like crash and burn, robot jox, and robot wars, except with real actors, and a decent budget for special effects. oh well, here's to dreaming. at least we have the classics. even thought the acting sucks it's still a very interesting concept.

@tlv156 Thats what I just said in a another comment section for this movie. I miss the Battle Tech and Robo Tech era. Now they have word of Toby McGuire directing and playing a lead role in a Robo Tech live action. I already anticipate the same shitty fate Michael Bay cast upon today's shitty Transformers movies.

That movie was pretty good for it's time...but if they were to remake it with today's ideas and technology, it would be one AMAZING movie.

I totally agree! A remake would be fantastic! I have the DVD and watch it at least once a year because I never stopped thinking about this flick.

Actually, the fights don't look cheap. They just look like non-CGI stop motion, and pretty good stop-motion at that. Just my opinion. But man, Tex is sure ripe.
