Generally, this is what can identify a European Albino as characterized with white hair and red eyes, but i've only seen 1 in my entire life, and a friend of mine had seen another at an elementary school,
The problem was, my friend had red-green color blindness, so he couldnt awnser if the person's eyes were red.... he could only see how pale the persons hair and skin was.
The princible is that eumelanin has two versions, brown and black..
Blonde hair is very low amounts of Brown eumalanin, but if there are low amounts of Black and not Blunde Eumelanin, it causes grey hair, then eventually light grey then white...
Well ...perhaps it is YOU who is "hostile" dear. You tried to correct 4 points that did not need correcting and I pointed out why on each point. If you were correct I would say so because I don't know all. But #1) it IS a "disease". #2) As stated, you need MELANIN to produce a normal tan and if there is NO melanin then the normal "tanning" process is impossible. #3) There was no need for you to point out that other races get it because I never stated otherwise. #4) 100% is factual.
@BeautyHealthZoneBlog Only to those who do not know the meaning of the word DISEASE. A disease need not be "contagious" in order to be classified as a disease. Multitudes of "diseases" are NOT contagious. Also, there are DEGREES of albinism (as with anything else). Albinism brings a DEFICIENCY of melanin. DEFICIENCY means inadequate but not necessarily absent. In the case of a complete absence of melanin it is IMPOSSIBLE to tan. You can only burn. Also WHO ever said albinism only affects blacks?

@Ssddftw how about this one. the fact that tribes with a COLLECTION of recessive traits must be isolastionalist in their policies towards tribes with dominant genes, because they would be bred out within a certain period of time.
@rasheedzee correct me if im wrong, but recessive traits can never be completley bred out of the human genome, hence black children out of nowhere ending up with blonde hair and yes, the majority of said tribes do in fact isolate themselves but even if they were to integrate into other tribes, the traits would remain in the dna. where do you think blue eyes came from? i was told it was a genetic mutation that, with enough similar breeding, became rampant. correct me if im wrong plz
@Ssddftw you can say all that stuff about genotypes, but at the end of the day the expressed phenotype is all people care about. yes, those defective genetics would still remain. so what? maintaining a tribe with expressed recessive traits is a sustained effort. one that is accomplished through either isolation or extermination.

There are just so many HOSTILE people online these days, I can't even be bothered to argue with you, not that there is any need to, but you are hostile in your response, just so you know.
I think it's good to point out that these people aren't turning White ethnically; you can't do that of course. They are devoid of all pigmentation. Whites do have some pigmentation. Any person, no matter the race or ethnicity can be born with Albinism or have Vitiligo. Even animals.
Thank you sir, you just gave me the answer I needed when white people have leprosy (turning white). The tint of color some white people do have from race mixing that do get leprosy turn back to pale white, extracting that color tint they picked up from the woodpile as they say...Thank you because I wondered why I see some white people with leprosy (Vitiligo to sugar coat the Biblical name)..They are all Stigmata anyway revealing Truth of Cain's Mark which was him turning white...Thanks
@EHYEHasherEHYEH1 leprosy does not change skin colour (not intentionally anyway) you lose the nerve retention in your body which also leaves the affected parts susceptible to infection.
@irishgodfatherchris In the Biblical days, Mariam was cursed with Leprosy when she spoke against Moses who too was black about marrying outside of his Tribe an Ethiopian black lady.....That was the original meaning of that word that has been changed over the years to vitiligo....Funny how Vitiligo was not the word for turning white all throughout the Bible...plus Cain's Mark was him turning white too...SIMPLY IT IS A STIGMA TODAY, A MIRACLE FOR ALL TO SEE HOW THE WHITE RACE BEGAN....INTERESTING
@irishgodfatherchris Oh yeah, don't forget when black Moses went to Pharaoh and put his hand inside of his clothing and pulled it out and it became leprous or should I say white as snow.......then he put his hand back into his clothing and pulled it back out and it was black again.....Charleston Heston could not perform this in the white version of the 10 Commandments movie.....People love to say Jesus was olive skin....GREEN??? No Black Olives skinned where are the green people right? Its OK
@taneshacheer89 The hair texture has nothing to do with Albinism. Blacks have different hair textures, from straighter to very kinky. That's obviously her hair texture or she has chemicals in it.
@the4beautiful Albinism has nothing to do with White people racially. Albinos actually have less skin pigmentation than whites because they are devoid of all pigmentation. ANYONE no matter the race/ethnicity can be born with Albinism. Even some animals are born with it.
@the4beautiful And you can think what you want but that won't change the facts. I have an aunt and cousin who have Albinism and they are as Black as me when it comes to facial features and hair texture; however, they are very pale (even more pale than the palest white person). They must also be VERY careful to protect their skin and eyes from the sun. It is a skin disease plain and simple that is genetic. If you do a search, you'll find White folks with Albinism as well and animals like I said.
The bible refer to this as leprosy...skin turning white..its a curse..but we know how man change the meaning of words to hid idenities. Another example the word unicorn in the bible which simply means a 1 horn rhino.
Interesting! So, Noah as a BLACK man had the ability to produce Japheth, the European race element, as well as Shem (semitics), and Ham (Africans and Asians)! Thanks for pointing that out!
I am a light skinned BLACK female, non-albino. But if you saw me, you'd think I was half something or Latino, ect. Most ppl dont take me as "just black" but it just happens. I hate being viewed as "different". What this man did with this informational video was fantastic. Though this disorder is very rare, it has nothing to do rasicm it just happens. They are as normal as anyone else. Ive seen albino ppl that were very attractive & unique looking. There is really nothing to get hyped up over.
my son is mixed race(half black and half white) and hes darker than his daddy.my middle son is mixed race and hes white like me..every one is different. All this about the Vitiligo..it happens,so what.you are born with it...albinos! my middle son is white with a ginger afro! haha
Hey Brother, you read the bible? Read Lev. 13 Chapter. What these people have is leprosy! Point blank! Just read the whole chapter slowly and you will see what i mean... The reclassification vitiligo does in no way change what the affliction is which is leprosy. That's what it was called in the ancient world, do a little digging and you'll see. The people with the blotches of brown and white are unclean lepers, while the people without are clean lepers; ex. whites changed the classification.
@h4lfp Thank you for your response. I will use it to enlighten those others who may not know better and think like you.
DISEASE = "a harmful deviation from the normal structural or functional state of an organism. A diseased organism commonly exhibits signs or symptoms indicative of its abnormal state. Thus, the normal condition of an organism must be understood in order to recognize the hallmarks of disease. Nevertheless, a sharp demarcation between disease and health is not always apparent"
micheal jackson was thought to have bleached his skin as tubes of skin lightening medication were found at a home he owned long before he died that were shown in a documentary and the find was never disputed
ALBINISM = is a congenital DISORDER characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to absence or DEFECT of an enzyme involved in the production of melanin. AlLBINISM results from inheritance of recessive gene alleles and is known to affect all vertebrates, including humans. While an organism with complete absence of melanin is called an ALBINO ( /ælˈbaɪnoʊ/[1] or /ælˈbiːnoʊ/),
@h4lfp DISEASE = "n. A pathological condition of a body part, an organ, or a system resulting from various causes, such as infection, genetic defect, or environmental stress, and characterized by an identifiable group of signs or symptoms."
DISEASE (dɪˈziːz) = "— n 1.any impairment of normal physiological function affecting all or part of an organism, esp a specific pathological change caused by infection, stress, etc, producing characteristic symptoms; illness or sickness in general"
DISEASE = "any abnormal condition in a plant that interferes with its vital physiological processes, caused by pathogenic microorganisms, parasites, unfavorable environmental, genetic, or nutritional factors, etc."
NEGRO means black. What is the problem here. Negro and Nigger are not the same. It's okay to be called Negro. All across the world blacks are called NEGRO. Country don't have the color black but NEGRO. Sensitive people should become more enlighten before displaying immaturity and lack of intellect.
@DeadIslandTrailers and a @s4f3rs oh, cool!! so we can start calling whites "sperm" since it's a seed which gives life, so who can complain?
or how about the "chicken eggs"? or the "cloud people"? or how about "snow" none of these are derogatory things to be compared to, so let's just start labeling white people these things because we don't give a damn enough to figure out what you prefer to be addressed as
@rasheedzee Well being that #1 it is MY video and #2 I am BLACK myself I don't feel the need to attempt to cater to every little side issue nor get caught up in the minutia of other people's insecurities or word preferences. The others who clarified the origin and meaning of the word "negro" are correct. I never use the word unless attempting to stress a point dealing with racial differences. Whomever may not like it is certainly free to not watch the video or return. No problem.
@rasheedzee Are you fucking retarded? You're arguments are about as valid as your penis. I was simply addressing the fact that negro means black in spanish and it's not a derogatory term.
@l2pks4f3rs wait, so if I call a spanish person a spic, and only one spanish person speaks up about it, I guess that means it ain't offensive no more, right?
@l2pks4f3rs suck my cock, bitch. It's offensive in the us. slave owners gave the name to blacks, so they don't want to associate with it. haven't wanted to since the fucking 60s, now get your damn history straight.
@rasheedzee ehhh i can see how it could offend you, but at the end of the day, know who you are as a person, and don't be so quick to let the words of others upset you so much. :)
@Uwagwej ...wah? it doesn't offend me. the "what to call negros" name game is...lame...
but that doesn't mean these wishy washy "get over it" fools are going to tell me a historical fact is false. even more, they 're not going to cop an attitude when they are WRONG. that's like breaking bad and coping an attitude for someone telling you the sky is blue.
@rasheedzee the amazon is in brazil dummy. south america is a continent of different countries. and it's "your" not "you're". you're the only one sounding retarded
@neneyounge one thing that makes me get very serious is when some dumb mother fucker starts calling someone else a dumbass.
1. the O.K. sign DOES have a negative meaning in south america.
2.wether it's in fucking brazil, peru or argentina, It doesn't FUCKING MATTER, it's STILL south fucking america.
3.having the internet does NOT exclude one from having origins in the jungle, which is in brazil, which in the last five fucking minutes, has not changed it's location from south america.
@rasheedzee actually it does matter, because all the countries are different with different cultures. if you say it's a negative sign in south america then you would have to say the country because it's a continent. i'm from the only english speaking country in south america that has a caribbean culture not latin, so the sign doesn't mean anything here. it's not about where i'm from, it's about getting your facts straight and not giving fallacious statements.
@neneyounge I don't have to specify what county it's bad in. where the hell does your logic come from? no matter what country, it's all south america. my statement is not true in light of that simple fact. what are you not getting about that? you sound like the typical psudeo intellectua who starts creating and pulling rules out your ass, just to justify some stupid mistake you made, instead of just admiting you don't know what the hell you are talking about.
@neneyounge If I have a conversation with someone and I say black people have dark brown eyes, they're not going to hold me to task to say each time, "well there are exceptions, as some black people are born with blue eyes". and I'M CERTAINLY not going to go through all that bull shit just to explain something that's in GENERAL, just to satisfy some idiot who overestimates his intelligence by over-complicating something.
@rasheedzee you used "your" in the wrong context again. what you highlighted are upper cases and lower cases, it's called punctuation and that has nothing to do with the english language. all languages have that rule. grammar and not "grammer" has alot to do with "failing to use english properly...". that's called misspelling.
@neneyounge "your" and idiot, because you didn't notice that I put the "yours" ...in parentheses. I SPECIFICALY did that to show you just how much stock I place in "you're" bullshit attempt to score points by resorting to spell checking. and in case you haven't guessed, if your correction was a stain on my ass, I wouldn't wipe it to acknowledge you. and, the fact that you screwed up something that's universal as opposed to a specific langauge, once again shows "your" the bigger dumb ass
@rasheedzee Oh would you shut up and go read a book, you stupid man/woman! You still aren't using "your" correctly. Also looks like you have a problem with "an" and "and" too, SMH. You have to say what country, imbecile because south america is a CONTINENT made up of different COUNTRIES. If you say "people eat dogs in Asia" that makes no sense and it's fallacious. You'd have to say people eat dogs in China. You still don't get it. I'm not trying to "score points".
@neneyounge it's the same principle, you dumb ass retard. china IS in asia, so saying that is valid. once again "you're" ability to understand how much of a stupid fucking tool you are is fucking getting fucking annoying. I dont give a fuck about what you fucking say, because you are a fucking fuckitty fuck moron and you don't fucking seem to fucking get that "your" guilty of the fucking lack of fucking understanding that "your" accuse me of. I DON"T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT "YOU'RE" CORRECTIONS.fuck
@neneyounge If I was a being from another planet, and I said there are kangeroos on earth, I WOULDN'T HAVE TO FUCKING SAY THEY ARE ON THE CONTINENT OF AUSTRAILIA TO MAKE THAT A VALID, GENERAL STATEMENT.
@rasheedzee BTW using profanity just to get a point across are for ignorant people. I wouldn't condescend to use vulgar or irreverent speech but I guess that's how you were brought up. PEACE! That means Bye, Adios, tot ziens, revoir
@JamQueenVania how? im black and i know that negro is just a color, not an insult. nigger is disrespectful because it's like calling someone igorant, or inferior to you.
the third picture doesnt look like she has anything because she has pigmentation in her eyebrows dont albinos suffer from no pigmentation?? ... the pic @ 2:13 not trying to be negative or nothing :) great vid...
Albinism is not a disease, it is a genetical condition which is inherited in the genes. If both parents are carriers, then their is a 1 in 4 chance their child may have albinism.
Imagine every living thing on this earth, that has a seed that can reproduce. Think, animals, on land, in air and in sea. Think trees, plants, fruits and vegetables!
They also can be affected by the condition of albinism, in the same way it affects humans.
Anybody can get Vitiligo !!! But this skin Condition is Mostly inheritied in African-American men & women,& boys & Girls. I Have a Friend who is an African American woman and she has been Living with vitiligo for years! Even though there is no Cure for people with vitiligo Certian skin Creams are used to protect the Vitiligo from harsh weather conditions such as Extreme Heat! we have to Treat others with Great Respect and Not Stair at Them! I wish there was a Cure for this condition !!!
Just for a bit more info, vitiligo is a autoimmune disease where your body determines the natural occurring melanin in your bod is foreign and the immune system attacks it and you become deficient. A full destruction of your melanin cells would mean your hair, irises and skin turn white. Its not painful and they are sometimes triggered by stress. Mine look like fluffy white clouds. Awww yeaaa
And you will find people there with very light skin, to very dark skin. I remember when I told one of my friends who is white that colored people can have naturally blond or light colored hair, she said, "Well that wouldn't look good on them".
I'm glad that someone made this video. It shows that people from a certain "race" can have different skin colors. I'm Mexican, and many people think Mexicans have to be tanned. But I also have a friend who is Mexican, and if I didn't know she was Mexican, I would of thought she was white because of her skin color and the freckles. It's believed that people of a certain "race" must have a certain color and act a certain way. But go to any country where the majority of the population is colored,
Disagreement on your statements regarding Michael Jackson. Having his features [lips and nose] altered was to look 'white' not black [African]. We must deal with the issue of 'black self hatred' when dealing with this topic as well.
me and my sister have something like that. it couses us to get tiny white dots all over our skin. i even have a huge light spot ( not white but like 1 or 2 shades lighter than my skin) on my back.
Wow, its disheartening to read so many of these posts. I think that we all should grow up a little, and try to embrace the differences in each other. Albino or not, we all have feelings, and have people who we care about, and people who care about us. Let's make our world proud. And as for the "negro" words, is there even a socially accepted word for calling a dark skinned person black? People seem to take common words to literal perverse meanings too often.
A person is their brain. it holds their thoughts and emotions and defines who they are. the body is merely a vehicle to transport the brain. Being racist is no different than being prejudiced against someone for owning a red car or a blue car. Get over the difference in biological transport and start paying attention to what powers that vehicle.
I don't think that's what happened to Michael Jackson because he NEVER had splotches. He just got lighter and lighter - and at the same time was having loads of cosmetic surgery to make his lips thin, his nose small and basically change his features from African to Caucasian. Sorry... there simply is no evidence that his situation was physiological.
i am sorry but all i se is good looking people . i was tolled as a little boy by my dad not to look some ones out side look in thare in side and if i see good in that i have meat a good prson .

Exactly, vitiligo is a disorder NOT a disease, and NOT contagious.
Yes, I have met many people with vitiligo and some of them have to use a cover product to re-pigment the skin in areas where it has turned white.
Vitiligo affects both black and white people, including Asians/Indians.

EHYEHasherEHYEH1 5 months ago
@EHYEHasherEHYEH1 leprosy does not change skin colour (not intentionally anyway) you lose the nerve retention in your body which also leaves the affected parts susceptible to infection.
irishgodfatherchris 5 months ago
EHYEHasherEHYEH1 5 months ago

Albinism i believe is white people, all white ppl r black but their ancestors skin started whitening and soon because very light skinned.
the4beautiful 6 months ago
@the4beautiful Albinism has nothing to do with White people racially. Albinos actually have less skin pigmentation than whites because they are devoid of all pigmentation. ANYONE no matter the race/ethnicity can be born with Albinism. Even some animals are born with it.
rhoyal22 5 months ago
@rhoyal22 u can think that.
the4beautiful 5 months ago
@the4beautiful And you can think what you want but that won't change the facts. I have an aunt and cousin who have Albinism and they are as Black as me when it comes to facial features and hair texture; however, they are very pale (even more pale than the palest white person). They must also be VERY careful to protect their skin and eyes from the sun. It is a skin disease plain and simple that is genetic. If you do a search, you'll find White folks with Albinism as well and animals like I said.
rhoyal22 5 months ago
The bible refer to this as leprosy...skin turning white..its a curse..but we know how man change the meaning of words to hid idenities. Another example the word unicorn in the bible which simply means a 1 horn rhino.

AlLBINISM results from inheritance of recessive gene alleles and is known to affect all vertebrates, including humans. @rasheedzee Well being that #1 it is MY video and #2 I am BLACK myself I don't feel the need to attempt to cater to every little side issue nor get caught up in the minutia of other people's insecurities or word preferences. Whomever may not like it is certainly free to not watch the video or return. No problem.

3.having the internet does NOT exclude one from having origins in the jungle, which is in brazil, which in the last five fucking minutes, has not changed it's location from south america.
rasheedzee 3 months ago
@rasheedzee actually it does matter, because all the countries are different with different cultures. if you say it's a negative sign in south america then you would have to say the country because it's a continent. i'm from the only english speaking country in south america that has a caribbean culture not latin, so the sign doesn't mean anything here. it's not about where i'm from, it's about getting your facts straight and not giving fallacious statements.
neneyounge 3 months ago

@rasheedzee you used "your" in the wrong context again. what you highlighted are upper cases and lower cases, it's called punctuation and that has nothing to do with the english language. all languages have that rule. grammar and not "grammer" has alot to do with "failing to use english properly...". that's called misspelling.
neneyounge 3 months ago
@neneyounge "your" and idiot, because you didn't notice that I put the "yours" ...in parentheses. I'm not trying to "score points".
neneyounge 3 months ago
@neneyounge it's the same principle, you dumb ass retard. china IS in asia, so saying that is valid. once again "you're" ability to understand how much of a stupid fucking tool you are is fucking getting fucking annoying. @rasheedzee ... Im correcting you so you can learn something but it appears you're either stupid, simple or slow. Let me school you:
Your - of you or yourself for e.g 'Where is your CD player?'
You're- of yourself also but the hyphenation "re" at the end means "are" to shorten for e.g "You're silly" or "You are silly"
NB: "Your" and "You're" are pronounced the same but are used differently

Albinism, is the politically correct term.
