I think this is awesome, funny, from a certain perspective. It depends on the intention of the creators. If by "epic", they're referring to the play, well, I don't know. It's fine. But if it's playing of the fact that people take their montages too seriously, this could be viewed as a hilarious satire. The creators fully embrace being "epic". the commitment makes it work.
