When the Japanese is 'officially' translated, the translators don't adhere strictly to the original words because they don't think the average viewer would understand the foreign phrases & structures. Instead, they rewrite the English script with what they think would be a more natural-sounding equivalent. Unfortunately, as with AC, this can turn "unforgivable!" into "meanie!".

and this is my last fact....i ran out of words in my last post. sephiroth is never referred to as the best soldier in crisis core in fact it was angeal that was the first successful experiement and it was angeal that didnt degrade, he also was the only one to have a white wing signifying he was the only one of pure cells. all quotes of sephiroth being the best came before crisis core AND its storyline was even created, so they dont apply and you need to stop trying to force them!

wrong. its pretty implicit in cc and throughout the compilation but if you need a flat out statement, its there in his profiles on the official crisis core site, as well as the crisis core ultimania. angeal is an elite first class, noted for his wisdom, while sephiroth is exceptionally powerful among the elites and considered the best.

the compilation was already under way and they knew where they wanted to go with it. the quote states their intent to not create a character stronger than AC seph. intent i.e. what they plan to do in future. it applies primarily to dirge of cerberus which is the most recent chronologically. it wouldnt need to apply to crisis core, since cc seph (weaker than AC seph) was already king in that era.

how do you know that fight was set up to represent their relationships? you dont. angeal tried harder than sephy during the spar, whilst working in tandem with gen, and was easily handled then shoved away casually. more likely it was organized to reflect their individual abilities with a sword. Sephiroth is incredibly strong. and I also believe that if Sephiroth wanted to go all out (which he never has mind you) I think he would have killed Genesis and easily sliced through the buster sword hilt. Seph has sliced many other things f.ex: zacks sword,the cannon,shinra building so there's little doubt that a perhaps 5inc wide hilt would have been sliced.

what are you trying to say? that first class angeal, who was weaker than first class sephiroth, is stronger than ac sephiroth, who is several times more powerful than his previous incarnation? doesnt follow at all. the statement applies to subsequent titles, primarily dirge of cerberus, since that introduces omega weiss and chaos vincent, both way more powerful than simple angeal, however despite the impressive displays, the advent children quote ensures they stay below ac seph.
