  • I dnt even remember this ride at kennywood

  • if anyone knows this question pls tell me, when i was little i remember this ride that was eaither yellow or orange i cant remember but it was at kennywood but i only rode it once for some reason i think it was like a spider or something?

  • Dildo-go-round

  • This is called a Dive Bomber..

  • I just went on one last night in Eagle Colorado at a small carnival. The seat backs were held in place with bungie cords. The welds in the cage looked like chicken sh*t and the plywood floors were all rotted out. They couldn't use one of the cages because it was broken. The best part was the the operators name "Lizard". Yes, he looked like white trash! And the ride was fun as hell!

  • We have this at Hillbilly Days in Pikeville, KY. It's like the funnest and scariest ride ever!!

  • lol that's on rct3 wild

  • We had one at Chain of rocks park in St. Louis. It was the best ever! Especially if you get a well seasoned operator who really knows how to run it! My very favorite ride!!!!

  • its not scary at all but its fun all right

  • whoa ive never seen this ride.

  • I went on a ride like that at a block party carnival. I was constantly getting squished by the guy next to me.

  • Now THAT'S a RIDE.

Anything ending in "O-Plane" proves, first, that it doesn't have to be thirty stories tall and over a mile long to be a lot of fun, and secondly, that the Irish really know amusement rides. Thank you to the O'Plane family for building some of the best portable and stationary amusements!!

  • Um...I know you are joking...but the Roll-O-Plane was made in Oregon by the Eyerly family.

  • wow, i commented this video like 10 times.

anyways, I remember this ride as a kid. I always wanted to ride it, but then I suddenly noticed they disappeared. But hey, we have the Areo 360 Now, which is wayy better than this ride. :)

  • we have one on these at arnolds park amusment park in okoboji.

  • As a kid (early 80s)...I rode this at least 10 times a day at the St. Anthony's Fair...there is still one today at South Lake Tahoe, CA.

  • really?

is it always in south lake tahoe?

    i live in sac

    n i wanna ride it

    PLEASASE REPLY

    :)

    thanks

  • OMGosh!! I'm in Sacto too!! Last time I was there they were taking it down (jan 08), I've seen it every trip I made up there since 2006 (1st trip to Tahoe was late 2006)

  • THEY TOOK THOSE OUT (for everbody whos wondering)

  • I love this ride so much. I know of two places where you can currently ride it. Little Amerricka Amusement Park in Marshall, WI. And Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA. If you guys know of any others, please post.

  • its knoebels

  • Conneaut has one, but their closed by bankruptcy and a "mysterious" fire in the winter where all the ride motors were kept. Hope they reopen soon

  • Conneaut Lake Park is reopening for the 2009 season, but the Blue Streak won't reopen till next year as it's going to require lots of money to pass the safety inspections.

  • For the record...I operated one of these at Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington Utah. They removed it a few years ago (conflicting stories as to why). There are very few Roll-O's left and you are correct! Kennywood has removed it also. I still think it was my favorite ride to operate for quite a few reasons (and NO it wasn't for the pocket change that always seems to accumulate!) LOL

  • It had to be that hissing/buzzing noise it made. I'll never forget it!

  • I had a relative who operated the round up at Conneaut Park in PA. As it spun he would run on it before the hydraulics went off then jump off.

  • Kennywood still has there's in storage, as they do many of their older rides, I believe.

  • i remember that thing! but i dont remember when the knocked it down

  • They took it down a couple of years ago because a little boy fell out and died.

  • In reality, it had a horrible capacity (8 people per cycle!) and it wasn't generating enough riders. I wasn't a fan of it, but it was always nice to see in Lost Kennywood. Nobody has fallen off of a Roll-O-Plane at Kennywood.

  • I love this ride and used to operate one all the time at Oaks Amusement Park in Portland, OR. They stupidly got rid of their model a few years ago. It's sad to see some of these older rides fading away.

Too bad the video didn't show the entire lift sequence in action! ;^)

  • i never saw that at kennywood and i went yesterday

  • they took them out.

  • ive never saw that at kennywood is it old because i went last year?

  • Heh, i rode this thing once.
