My Pulsar 180 record holding Top Speed...136!!!

never thought that pulsar 180 "new edition" could do that ....mine is the older version ...the one withoput the tank flaps nd all ....(2008 model) and it does a max of 120kn/h ....amazingg ...

Glad you came out alive! And baffled as well as pleasantly surprised to see a P180UG4 doing. I am a fattu, when it comes to topping out, hence have only reached 104 that too once, for 2-3 secs! lol!

But man, helmets .....take care of them from next time!

And to those, with speedo error, incline and other shitty theories, got guts? Go test out your platina or other 40 % times overpriced Jap bike to its limit and post back but here, you all better shutup!

@siddymaddy: Moreover Bajaj bikes provides for around 20% speedo error on the digital and analogue meters,therefore many questions remains there.

However,the only thing I think you should more concerned about is your own safety.Hence wear protective riding gears while speeding.

@siddymaddy: why would I be jealous of you dude ?? I too had a Pulsar180DTSi Black Version back in 2006,which I crashed and sold.Now I ride multi-cylinder bikes on weekends and use sixth geared 150cc bike for my daily commute...........I find no reason to be jealous of you.

But if your camera does not show the road on which you are going fast,the conditions under which the bike achieved its speed cannot be judged,hence the authenticity of the top end remains doubtful.

get ur speedo checked !! my friends 180 once showed 160 when he was doing 100 !! lol .. i own a pulsar 220 dts-i !! n its top speed iis 133 (measured with gps) while it showed 146 on the speedo !! pulsar speedo has many problems !! always measure with gps device :)

Great ride ...............no doubt..........u punekar right...........n thatz katraj tunnel

..i have driven on that road specially in that tunnel itz a slope,no air drag....u tend to reach at that speed .........but u got gutz......no helmet!!!!

P.S. Even a 150cc can touch 130 in that tunnel

i race with my XCd 135 witrh pulsar 150..and i touch 103 kmph..while pulsar goes only 95kmph..

so its all depend on u...
