  • Isaak rocks with great stagecraft & charisma. Its not surprising he has done so well tho in a quiet way. There are bigger stars in the rock & country fields but when you see or hear Chris Isaak you are getting the real deal, an artist that performs and cares about what he is doing . His enthusiasm is infectious. His album Beyond the Sun deserves to do well and educate at the same time. For a fan of The Boss, Waylon & Willie, & John R Cash, Chris's work is always breath of fresh air . . .

  • Great version of this song !!!

  • I could be wrong, but I thought I heard Cash and Isaak in this-

  • Watched him this afternoon on Alan Titchmarsh Show in UK and he has worked with Roy and Johnny and boy did he learn his craft! He is superb and keeps those guys' memories alive. God bless him. Love you loads Chris.x

  • All icons sing one another songs ,...............This is the master at work doing what he does best ,entertain with his great vocal talent, It nice that we have these great videos and remind us what artist he is ......Your one big icon Chris.

  • I love this version.

  • Someone mentioned that Chris is impersonating the original artists. I wouldn't agree with that at all. He's been singing and recording records now for 27 years and has never changed his love for this type of rock and roll...he's not impersonating anyone...this is a tribute album, and this is his real voice. He has a very powerful and adaptable voice and can sound very different, singing a different type of song. Just my opinion of course.

  • ficou legal a versão dele

  • the movie belongs to joaquin he was born to play it ... it was one of his lifes purposes which he fulfilled there is no other person on this planet who should or could have played johnny cash like that

  • He should have played him in the movie....Natural choice

  • becoming a legend Chris. Great Job Johnny would be proud,.

  • @subkutan22 Chriss isaak is a legend already... has always been a sexy living singer ;)

  • am really enjoying this cd, one great musician

  • When I watch interviews & VT's of Isaak its clear he's a real musician who, just like a real good actor can put himself inside the person he's trying to recreate. His works are all very close to the original because he's playing some real 'hits' of the dearly departed. Obviously making this album was a risk for Isaak but I for one think he has carried it off well and didnt murder any of the tracks. Keep the music coming Chirs, you are a legend!

  • this is the first chris isaak cd I will not buy. its just not him. Whats wrong with his voice? he sounds like he is impersonating these singers rather than using his own style to sing these songs. very disappointed - his diddly daddy in the 80s was more rock n roll than this album.

  • @donnapanda Honestly, I think this was a labour of love for him and he was channeled from the original artists. We all know for certain that Chris has his own style and hasn't lost it, this is a tribute album and he delivered. I am sure that he will take some liberties during his live performances.

  • wonderful cd he's a great singer !!!!!!!!
