I know that seems like an inappropriate and shallow comment, but before you click thumbs down, know that I buy Gardiner's records like crazy and I'm a Bachoholic to the extreme. It's just that in this video there's a greater appeal than just the music.

Gardiner seems to attract a sort of 'love him or loathe him' attitude with seemingly no middle ground. I think personally that he's one of the best things that ever happened to Bach's music, but each to their own opinion, of course.
