Camera guy is interfering but he could stand on the sidewalk and film quietly all he wants. Telling people they are going to jail if that don't leave is over stepping his bounds. Actually arresting someone for staying on the sidewalk quietly (filming or not) would be an injustice to your rights.

He wasn't being hit in the gut, it is clearly his shoulder and he was resisting the police officers attempts to control his hands and was resisting so the officer was hitting a approved area of the body to overcome that resistance.

I live in an east San Gabriel Valley city, and it has taken big steps to stay in touch with the community and they have the philosophy of "everyone work together to achieve a safer city" instead of "we are the police and we are up here and you are down there" like you find in Fullerton.
