@DamindofManning they can get wet dont soak them but tr to keep them dry for atleast 2 or 3 weeks then sttart spritzing them with water eVery so often water will help the lock faster

Hey I'm planning on getting some dreadlocks soon but I got a haircut like a few weeks ago so my hair is still low. I was wondering what's the minimum length that your hair have to be to get dreads? Like how yours is short, but im sure u initially had them done months before when your hair was shorter. And what's a reasonable (average) price for a stylist to do them for you?

@silversnke04 go to a salon and tell them you want gel twist. after that you go back every month and get it retwisted. Or you can wait a month wash the gel twist out and then keep on gettin them until you can get 2 strand twist and prices can range from 50 to 90
