  • Does anyone know if the Regimental March "Kinnegad Slashers" was arranged for Corps of Drums and if it was how do I get a Copy as it was the Regimental march of the 86th Regt of Foot Royal Irish Rifles, yes it's true due to the 86th being raised in Shropshire!

  • the shirrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee

  • @JeffTubb08 the drum major i knew could play ever bugle call of the british army except retreat , told me the glosters dont use that 1

  • the glorious glosters ! HOW could the do away with them!

  • @pinkfloydmike because their traiters not patriots and havent got an ounce of patriotism in their selfless bodys houses of parliment or house of treason

  • the glorious glosters !

  • Happy memories National Service 1957 with the 'Bristol Boys'. Malcolm, Gerry , Bob,

Ron, Dave, Dave, Ginger, Jim and Roy. Bandmaster George Plummer, Staff sergeant 'Dig em out muff' Ollie Halstead 1st clarinet.

We 'Beat the Retreat' on every village green in Gloucestershire and had 'The Freedom of the City of Bristol' during a Parade on College Green 1958.

  • family in dis regiment my turn in 3 years 2 continue the pride :)

  • @seana210 How? The Glosters are disbanded...?

  • @seana210 How? They no longer exists, they were merged with other Light Infantry Units....

  • The best fighting force in Korea<3

  • @Maxchas1995 Agree entirely. The stand of The Glosters on Hill 235 was epic, arguably one of the finest stands in British Army history. The odds were overwhelming, yet they held them off for three days of savage fighting. Their actions deserve the highest respect- truly inspirational. The Imjin Battle would make a superb film, although I doubt it will ever be made by Hollywood, they wouldn't like to admit that British 29th Brigade save US 1st Corps from annihilation! RESPECT to The Glosters.

  • @LIVERPOOLSCOTTISH Britain all the way <3 Glosters are our pride :*)

  • My dad was a Gloster, so was my uncle and so too was their farther, my grandfather, who fought in The Great War. I'm very proud of their legacy and the spirit does continue within the Rifles.

  • I'm just learning about this regiment. This video brought tears to my eyes. RIP, Great-Uncle (Captain) Gerald E. Elliott, of Bristol, killed at The Somme, 1916.

  • My family is from this regiment, I will Never ever forget.

  • My daddy... Love you so much dad, I'm so proud of you. I'm gonna do you proud, just as you've done me. Always with me never forgotten. Love you RIP. zeb xxx
