His style is called digital hardcore. It also resembles Breakcore in some ways though Digital Hardcore was out long before Drum n Base or even Breakcore.

His style is pretty much unique but there are some artists who get close to it.

I'd recommend "Atari Teenage Riot" who were the first to produce this stuff. Their track "Digital Hardcore" gets pretty close to shizou i think other tracks are also pretty decent.

There are probably also other artists i don't know about who worked on similar stuff without getting noticed or who didn't sell their records

What i was trying to point out was that this kind of music didn't exist in a wide variety back then (and especially not in Germany)

which is what imho caused it to be so unique
