  • 0:32 c64c!

  • Awesome, the people dont appreciate this kind of music on this days, and unfortanly, nobody does this kind of music.

  • I do! :)

  • venetian snares

  • venetian snares is breakore shizuo plays totally different shit.

  • venetian snares is more than just breakcore.. and breakcore is so wide these days that this would be conciderd breakcore as well. iam confused about all the genres theres just too many.

  • maybe. I actually like Shizuo better cause he at least has some structure to his music. Are there any similar bands/projects to Shizuo? How is his style called? Cause I'm more of a metalhead and don't really know a lot about the scene.

  • His style is called digital hardcore. It also resembles Breakcore in some ways though Digital Hardcore was out long before Drum n Base or even Breakcore.

His style is pretty much unique but there are some artists who get close to it.

I'd recommend "Atari Teenage Riot" who were the first to produce this stuff. Their track "Digital Hardcore" gets pretty close to shizou i think other tracks are also pretty decent.

  • "It also resembles Breakcore in some ways though Digital Hardcore was out long before Drum n Base or even Breakcore"

breakcore dates back to 1992 with Alec Empire's "Totenposse Rides Out"

  • yeaaaaah...

well you're basically right you could also argue the point that drum and bass was already pretty popular in the UK around 1995

There are probably also other artists i don't know about who worked on similar stuff without getting noticed or who didn't sell their records

What i was trying to point out was that this kind of music didn't exist in a wide variety back then (and especially not in Germany)

which is what imho caused it to be so unique

  • Digital Hardcore dates back to Alec Empire's birth, when he started yelling at the doctors about the establishment.

  • only artist i know that is as juicy as this song

is sonic subjunkies : turntable terrorist (remix version withthe sikk sound at the beginning ) & do you even know who you & never trust a pretty face & heatbeat (remix)

    (^_^)

also check out nic endo : maneater & white heat (:

  • The digital hardcore scene is pretty good throughout, or was. Shizuo fans usually also like Ec8or , and i'm sure there's more.

  • this music is part of electronic music it is DIGITAL HARDCORE... and other similar djs are Atari Teenage Riot, Bomb20 & lawgiver or ec8or but i really recomend Atari Teenage Riot

  • brutal. I feel i´m a bit old.

  • gorgeous

  • so badass

  • cool!

  • Digital hardcore ftw.
