  • I'm an appreciator of Camac Harps but this is not jazz. There is no understanding of jazz harmony and it is pedestrian, a bit clumsy and doesn't swing. It's what classical musicians "think" jazz might be. There are very few gifted jazz harpists.

  • I love when I see musicians conquer the psychological boundaries of stereotypical music that the general public and media has so carelessly and bestowed on various instruments! All you guys need is a snare drum and a high hat in the background and this song would be complete. Please don't ever stop playing!

  • The part at 1:41 (where he plays a melody in octaves) is the most successful timbral effect yet! That got pretty close, I think, to making convincing jazz sounds.

  • "Nice" indeed! What a master of understatement.

  • I love it! :-)))

  • Just nice?!! Is that all you can say? Have you ever tried to perform with a band in a huge concert hall having a lot of problems with sound devices?

I wish you were at the concert hall that day....

It was great... amazing!! Have you ever seen a harpist who just easily touching the strings could compete with the pianist? Well...it surely takes certain skills and famous French culture of their soundmaking" to play that magic instrument.

Bravo Jakes! Bravo "BLUE HARP"! Bravo CAMAC HARPS!!!!!
