@stellarworker I dont know about that?? I am swedish and I think she does one thing very wrong. She put in so much botox in her face, is that a natural queen? No its not! I dont want my queen to represent a bunch of plastic operations! Look at the queen of England! She hasnt done a single one, she looks natural, old but natural. Thats how it should be. And Elizabeth ll was a beauty as young, same as Silvia.

And I have so much interest in the british royal family, read about them almost everyday(older history) And I disvuss very often about diana and charles..... And the wedding between william and kate was so lovley, and I have never seen so much people in London in my whole life x) It was mad. Im so happy that I got to see all that in real.

@HeavyMetalJordan Yeh Silvia is very nice! She does very good things for people here and in other countries, specially for children. BUT, I dont want my queen to do loads of beauty operations and use botox etc. I dont want someone to be a rolemodel for young girls. When shes saying herself that everyone is good like they are and beautiful natural.

Truly deserving the title of Queen. She undoubtedly possesses the grace and aura of one with royal breeding. Very nice family pictures. I'm glad their marriage in 1976 endured and stayed intact. They have beautiful children.

I was only joking! Your Queen looks fabulous, and I'm sure she has done your country a great service. But it's sadly true majority of Brits have no idea whats going on in Scandinavia - I'm ashamed to say most ppl here couldn't put a name or face to any of the Scandinavian Prime Ministers or Kings/Queens. All we seem to get on our news is America America America! I blame our media, the BBC, the newspapers, our education system etc. We should get more news from our own continent, and less from US!

Prince Carl Philip should have been the crownprince if it wasn't becous of that horrible "swedish" anti-monarchy parliament who change the constitution for some decades ago and stole the crownprince title from Carl Philip and gave it to his older sister Victoria!

They wanted the title to be gender-equal, so they wanted to distroy a old Swedish tradition that says that the head of state shall be a male!

I got nothing bad to say about Victroia! But according to tradition, we shall have, a King!

That is actually only part true. It was actually the parties that was for the monarcy that wanted the constitution to be changed, because if the King only had daughters the kingdome would die by its own. So the change was done to save the monarcy. It was Vänsterpatiet and Socialdemocrats who voted against it. Then when they were already preparing for the change Carl Philip was born. So he was only Crown Prince for six months before the new law passed and made Victoria queen to be.

Of course Hm Queen Elizabeth is more famous, she's the head-over-state of the UK. Queen Silvia on the other hand is not HOS over Sweden, she's "just" married to the king of the nation! And she's not even an hereditary heir to the swedish throne!

Anyway! she's an very good queen. And so are Elizabeth of course!

Oh, quite contraire my dear....the Brits are just too busy with the English Empire ( long gone)...must take a look at the rest of the world as it's changed so much. Queen Sylvia is much loved, extremely talented (speaks 4-5 languages), has exquisite taste,produced beauuuuuuuuuuutiful children, and puts darling HRH Elizabeth fashion to shame. God save both Queens (both with many German genes)
