best .22 caliber pellet for shooting apples

I got lucky on the draw and got not one, but TWO Grapefruit tags this year. Keep in mind I'm not a trophy hunter and only kill for food for the crisper. I'd like a clean kill with the first shot (I hate to see any fruit suffer) but don't want too big of a wound channel and spoil too much of that delicious grapefruit flesh either.

What round would you suggest for my upcoming hunting trip?

i have a remington 22 summit air rifle and ive blown the top HALF of an apple off at about 25 yards...so this video makes no sense to me.

nice vid, it clearly shows the crosman premier hollow points actually look nothing like they do in the pic on the tin :) lol, every time I look at crosman pellets on the web i see beautifully crafted pellets only to look at them in real and see poor quality lead with lead flashing down the side and buts of lead stuck in the skirts :) they should be sued for false advertisement.

So far Gamo Masterpoints 16.2 gr are the most consistant. getting ready to order some H&N Crow Magnums 18.21 gr hollow points, JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.1 Grains domed, and 16 grain predators. any others I should try or is there one I should forget about.?

I think if you hung a piece of canvas behind the apples you could be found the pellets,so you can see how they looks after penetration.

I have tested my silencer and I did like that,coze I want to know if the pellet dosen't touch anything inside the silencer.
