Anyone else just realize we are starting to turn into our own parents. Just as they told us, we tell todays youth that the music was better in our day, and the music they listen to is not good?
Is it me, or do most of today's popular rap songs sound very similar (beat wise) to every other popular rapper, that there is no real ingenuity?
Hey Derek799 in 1970 a song was song by The Jackson 5 called ABC it was a #1 hit. This was before rap music was on TV but on the street of BROOKLYN NEW YORK. Micheal Jackson was the lead singer and with brothers.
LOL, This was the Jackson Five Original lyrics from a 1970 #1 hit song called ABC. That was back in the day before Rap music was on TV but in the streets of BROOKLYN NEW YORK .
I like this type of rap music and I love the lyrics of this song because there not talking about them selves and there life. They actually have a purpose in there song they have a substance and now a days rap doesnt have any topic really just random facts about the rapper rapping about them selves. The message of this song is that opp can be whatever you want it to be to the listner to the song. Its a very clever track it provides a great tune from the sample of jackson 5 and a message
